Looking at a Monet you would have no idea how many mistakes were left to dry and painted over, the imperfection does not go away it simply adds to the depth of the masterpiece.

I understand you, and I shall not attempt to make you change your mind… I have told you what I think, and that is all. I shall remain your friend even if you act contrary to my convictions, and I shall help you even if I disagree with you.

Someone once asked me what I regarded as the three most important requirements for happiness. My answer was: A feeling that you have been honest with yourself and those around you; a feeling that you have done the best you could both in your personal life and in your work; and the ability to love others.

Happiness is a direction, not a place.

I believe people are in our lives for a reason. We’re here to learn from each other.
