Hello there! My name is Nochu. (It's pretty obvious from my username, but my real name is Emily.) I am from Kansas City, Missouri, and I would like to share a current ghost story which I am currently investigating with a couple friends. I have always showed interest in the paranormal, and I had always wanted to be able to interact with ghosts and the spirits that just haven't moved on yet and share it with the word, and this is my chance to, so I might as well submit my ghost investigation. About 4 months ago, I was transferred to a new school, not too far away from my house. The school was a very small private school. I was really excited, and it turned out at this school, everybody really liked me. I met another person, (Not saying her name for the sake of her privacy.) who after talking to a little, figured out that she also had an interest in the undead. We pretty much became best friends instantly, and this is the person I am investigating with. Approximately 2 weeks ago, I was carrying down boxes to the dumpster with my friend. It was pretty much the end of the day. Our school is smashed together with an Elementary school....More or less. We share grounds and funds and such, and occasionally they come up here and hang out with us. But the thing is the 2 schools are separated by a hill, and there is a 50-foot-drop (with stairs.) from our school to theirs, so it's VERY tiring walking down and back up the stairs. About half way back up the stairs, she pointed out what would sound like a combination between a very violent harmonica and rustling. But the thing was, I didn't hear it and told her to stop being so paranoid. But the next time, I heard it. The stairs and the back of the school are surrounded by a damp, wet, forest-like area, and I had been in it several times. It smelled like rotting leaves and stale water, and it was very hard to walk due to how muddy it was, mixed with the steepness of the hill. My attention was quickly brought over to the noises. It wasn't really that loud, in fact, it sounded distant. The left side of the stairs was where the forest started to fade away into grassland, so there was literally nothing but bushes and a couple of small trees, with rotting leaves scattering across the ground. I was able to see perfectly through the area, but there was literally nothing there. Maybe a couple birds in trees, but nothing else. After a while, we started to move on and just go back into the school, but I just couldn't leave the noises at "birds". We sat at a table and started talking about what it could have been, but we just couldn't pick out anything in particular. I started talking about the possibility of it being a ghost, but she just shrugged it off and said "probably not.". Another kid from our class, also not stating his name, decided to join our conversation, and pointed out that several people and animals died here, including our Janitor's wife, and the wife's dog. This really got our attention. He said the dog was supposedly buried behind the school, and he doesn't exactly know anything about the wife except for "She died, and that's all I know." After talking about the wife a bit, the bell rang, and it was time to go home. We all agreed to meet early before school to go check out if the dog's grave was actually true. The next day, all of us arrived about 2 hours before school started. We snuck behind the school, and started looking. In about what felt like forever, I stumbled across a stone embroidered into the ground, with the name "Heidi" on it, and the birth and the death dates of the dog. I don't remember them exactly, but I might take some pictures and upload them later. That was the dog's grave, I was sure of it. I called my friends over. They weren't too far away from the area I was in. The myth was true. I have been typing this for about 30 minutes now when I should have been doing homework. I promise you guys I will finish this (there's more to what we have figured out so far.) and keep you updated with pictures and things, but now, I need to go.
