I feel we have a dynamic between two people who share some similarities. Elise is a sweet, responsible girl, and Shadow is a grumpy guy who wants to do everything alone.

In my own vision of iblis, this is what they are like !
Soleanna's primary industries are tourism and precision machinery.
One possible example of this is the company Rimlight. Rimlight is an energy corporation researching "light energy" that hopes to use Light Cores to revolutionize the field of clean and renewable power.
According to the GUN soldier Parr, in the past Eggman had stolen research data from Rimlight and presumably used it to craft his latest series of robots. This may give insight into how Rimlight's "light energy" appears, as a majority of said robots possess prominent cores of cyan and/or neon yellow light.
However, not all is at it seems. Light Cores, the source of Rimlight's new form of energy, are sourced from Solaris; being dropped primarily by Iblis creatures and Mephiles the Dark's summons (Notably, Mephiles' summons drop the highest amount of Light Cores in the game, often being able to fill the Action Gauge almost immediately). What this is meant to imply for Rimlight is unclear.
Where do they get light cores? The minions of Iblis and Mephiles only exist now in the game, and the company has been around for a while, no, they don't get them from them.

No, DC x Sonic, don't give me hope that Elise and Iblis will ever return to the franchise.
But seriously, it's so good to see Soleanna not just as a backdrop, and i love how they show the fear that the citizens have of the "Flames of Destruction." I hope that in the future they at least maintain this kind of reference to Soleanna.
Years have passed, we can enjoy aspects of 06 without making a big deal out of it.

I need to say how sad it is to see that so few Sonic fans do anything related to Iblis. I know it's because they barely has a personality in the game, but I feel they has the potential for interesting stories!
Okay, now that I've vented about the character itself, I want to show you the challenge it was to try and draw their confusing Phase 3 model!
I take a long time to be satisfied with my Iblis drawings. I used to only use images for reference, but they didn't show the model in detail, which confused me when it came time to draw.
Of all the scribbles I made trying to understand this model, these two are the ones I liked the most; I managed to show movement in a model that barely moves in the game.
Here's the Iblis model that saved me! It's such a relief to be able to rotate this thing and know what I'm looking at!

Tip: click on the MatCap option! This will remove the "skin" of the model and leave it shading, which makes it easier to understand the model's shapes! Look at this exemple:

When Archie Comics released a summary of Sonic 06, an artist created artwork of Iblis, but in that artwork, Iblis has a large pair of curved horns!
You know what's best? I made that mistake too! At first, I GENUINELY thought those were how Iblis's horns work!
See this and learn! Never rely on just one reference when you want to make a faithful drawing of something!

Solaris' theme in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) contains lyrics meant to be reminiscent of Latin choir, however (and presumably due to the difficulty of translating a Japanese composition to Latin) the song is instead primarily sung in old-form Italian with Latin backing vocals.
