Silver story, beginning - Soleanna forest

Okay so I couldn’t play much of the game without getting severely motion sick again..but I got some of silvers story done.

He honestly feels on par with sonic tbh? In terms of movement and such, I did wish the objects I’d grab would go in the direction I do aim them towards but it might be a me issue. The iblis boss fight was also really easy even if it was hard to aim sometimes and was overall fun. But during the specific levels I did feel a bit awkward with defeating enemies and just wanted to get the level done at a point lmao.

i completely forgot how barren Soleanna forest is holy crap, like it’s HUGELY barren for no reason that makes sense. HOWEVER I really adore the small sections of plant life (the large trees) that I can explore, it’s really pretty and I see why silver would find the place so unbelievable. The grounds near the old castle being solider training grounds is interesting but oh my god I cannot complete the training at the moment because after a point you get lost with no direction and no red rings in sight period, spent like 10 minutes before I got motion sick doing the challenge over and over trying to find more red rings just to be lost. I just wished the level in general was more filled with stuff to connect the old castle to the entrance to the random foresty bits. Because otherwise it doesn’t fit it’s level name all too well when 90% of it is barren.

Beginning - Silver boss fight.

I am using a controller and Jesus it feels like moving a mountain slowly when I play as sonic, on the jump pads it has a really weird slowdown thing where sonic fully stops and won’t move so I have to use the jumpads twice to get him up a ledge. It feels really hard to move sonic when it shouldn’t be and makes my controller feel..heavy? It wasn’t comfortable. Also when going around loops it sometimes would just fling me into the water or straight off the side if I wasn’t perfectly center (which it is hard to be able to check If you are in the center) which was a bit annoying.

Silvers boss fight after the first loss was actually super easy I beat it in less than a minute lmao (got an S rank), I was in vc with a friend and he was scared but you simply need to take a defensive approach until you hear the audio cue then go and hit him. Don’t immediately go to attack. But turning in this game also can feel super slow and weird depending the camera, sometimes it’s fixated and sometimes it isn’t so it can get awkward to try and move it. This is especially awkward within the egg Cerberus bossfight.

uhm for castle town itself it’s fun to walk around and get a good grasp at how the town officially looks outside of having to rely on videos and google, being able to see the castle from the town was also cool. And generally exploring is fun, found out I can knock over npcs as-well with spindash…
