Rick looked up as Danny entered his room, smiling at him. He took his hands gently “I know you are, baby. I know it wasn’t on purpose. It’s okay. I should have moved faster anyway.”

He let out a sad sigh, still feeling bad. “Yeah but it wasn’t me who was supposed to tell him. I’m an idiot, I couldn’t keep my mouth shut.”

Rick: i know you are

Rick: accidents happen baby

Rick: not at you. i should have told him sooner.

Rick: im disappointed in myself

Danny: I'm sorry, really

Danny: We just started dating, it's a big deal, I should have kept my mouth shut I'm so sorry

“Am I? Am I really, though?” he asks, laughing, “To be fair, yeah, I’m pretty great. But, anyway,” he waves a hand, “How are things going with the aforementioned boyfriend?”

“Yes, you are. I wouldn’t have told you if you weren’t, I’m not a liar.” He laughed, putting his hands in his pockets. “Things are so...” He looked down, smiling like an idiot. “Things are really good...like, insanely good. It feels like I’m on cloud 9 all the time and I’m not talking about the drugs.”

Rick: i know you didn't..

Rick: I wish it had come from me though

Rick: I was really scared and i wanted to get it off my chest and stop being afraid of what my family would think

Rick: I guess it achieved the same goal though

Danny: Babe I'm so so so so so so so so so sorry

Danny: I was talking about you without mentioning you and I slipped up I'm sorry

Jake bit down on his lip hard, this was a lot to take in for him. The same question kept running through his head why did he not tell me? “No, you’re okay. Don’t worry about it,” he said shaking his head. “Just one question, how long?”

“Like a week...not that long..” He sighed, frowning a bit, still hitting himself for being the one to tell him instead of it being Rick himself.

Rick: so i learned something today

Rick: i saw jake

Rick: and you told him?????

Rick: we were supposed to tell him together

“Trip was pretty great, though it rained the whole time, it’s like England just really wants to live up to its stereotypes.”

“Yeah like that one about them always having to sit in traffic, that’s true.”
