Master post of some of my favorite studio ghibli scenery
I canāt believe people still think women are ātoo emotionalā when they become constant victims to fragile masculinity
ughHhHHH
Someone only has to tell a guy no for him to go fromĀ āpotential dateā toĀ āmurdererā in 3.5 seconds!

PSA: journalists arenāt supposed to put names in the headlines if the person isnāt a public figure. Itās not a matter of maliciously not giving credit
As someone in a journalism course, I can confirm this 100%. Itās like, one of the first things they teach us.
Because headlines arenāt supposed to be too long and by including a name youāre taking up space that could get people interested in the story.
Thatās why public figures names are included because they draw people in, but other peopleās names donāt have that recognition
Thank you! This was starting to drive me insane. Unless you are as well known as BeyoncĆ© your name wonāt appear in the headline.
Stop yelling at copy editors!

-Horst has done time. -What for? -No one knows for sure. He changes the story every time you ask him.
Ratatouille (2007)
My personal theory is that all of his stories are true, all talking about the same, bizarre heist.
THIS IS SUCH AN ACCURATE REPRESENTATION OF CATS IF CATS COULD TALK THIS IS WHAT THEY WOULD SAY

CANNOT REBLOG FAST ENOUGH
Because its safer to be nobody than a woman
Things You Don't Comment On:
- someoneās eating habits
- appearance issues that canāt be fixed there and then
- someone elseās ābadā decision if it canāt now be undone
- someoneās laugh or voice
- someoneās āunrealisticā dreams
- someone ānot looking their bestā in photos
- someone not wanting to do something and trying to subtly avoid it without making a fuss
- anything that you know will make someone self conscious or insecure unnecessarily

opening up in therapy feels like snitching on myself
Unbiased journalism is not pretending both sides are equally valid. Unbiased journalism is reporting the facts even if those facts include that one side is irredeemably awful. False neutrality is propaganda.
Repeated for emphasis: False neutrality is propaganda.
if 99 experts say one thing, and 1 expert says another, presenting both sides as equal is misinformation
Years ago I went to a lecture by a science journalist, who talked about why so much science reporting is terrible, and this was the crux of his argument. Science reporters arenāt scientists, so they try to be āunbiasedā and end up validating bad science in the interest ofĀ āgiving both sides of the story.ā But this is no longer just a problem for science journalists. When the media doesnāt take a stand on what is factual, or at least supported by evidence, it contributes to its own implosion and the destruction of critical thought and democracy. I am not even joking here. False āletās heard from both sidesā neutrality contributes to the idea that there are no facts, only different kinds of spin.
