trans mascs/ men; just bc someone isnt transphobic or is validating to ur gender doesnt mean they are a safe person and cant do no wrong!!! we often fall into this fallacy of being deprived of respect, so basic necessities like the right gendering feel euphoric, kind of a saviour on a white horse. it can safe someone's life to actually be gendered correctly. but, predators know of this. i mean chasers are doing this as a carrot dangler for you to idolize them and break down your walls. also celebrities who are showing support for trans people sometimes have skeletons in the closet, hoping for a vulnerable community to use as a shield. also i genuinely think were not aware bc of all this normalized bigotry coming our way how bad things really are, and how miniscule reapecting someones identity is.
