I just imagined Jason upgrading something in his suit without much thought that anybody would notice, because it’s just some detail that would make moving quicker or fighting easier. Maybe different plates, something about his helmet, or boots. And then reader noticing it right away before he’s gone for patrol; commenting on it with approval and excitement, and Jason is not able to think about anything else for the rest of the night, because what do you mean you noticed something so small, and you liked it, and asked what exactly the new upgrade did? patrol could go to hell, because in that moment he wanted to just show you every piece of his equipment if it meant you looked at him with those big and excited, and curious eyes, and asked questions (and made him feel noticed)—
