One of the main reasons I hate AI so much is because it feels like a blanket of inertia laid over all human progress.
Like... nah we're going to stop finding out what our minds and societies are capable of. That's enough, we're just going to take what we have and use only existing data to jumble things up and spit them out to "make life easier" (for corporations...)
The future is here? Babes the future is whatever comes, it can still contain multitudes. I wanted to see those multitudes and see if we could ever get to a point of empathy that we could restructure positions of power to actually help people and the Earth.
But nah. Skipping steps of things sounds better. That will never go wrong and don't even think about regulating it.
