i like posting about things i like; especially film, art, music, and figure skating- some of my favorite figure skaters are evgenia medvedeva, denis ten, and javier fernandez.

i'm a marxist-leninist and oppose western imperialism. i believe we must oppose us and nato military and financial involvement in any and all conflicts, we must stand against the united states' new cold war against china, and we must work to promote understanding of anti-imperialist revolutionary forces across the globe.

i reject liberal feminists' lack of critical analysis regarding the sexual exploitation of women, and i reject the gender essentialist rhetoric espoused by many radical feminists.

i've done some acting and i was a dancer for five years. right now i work in senior caregiving.

my favorite novel is probably don quixote, though laurie halse anderson's speak holds a special place in my heart. i also love the works of george rr martin; i recommend you read asoiaf if you haven't, and i recommend you read fevre dream if you haven't explored his work beyond asoiaf. outside of fiction i'd especially recommend exploring walter rodney, vladimir lenin, and frantz fanon.

some my favorite musical artists lately are hiperson, sky ferreira, faye wong, the sundays, tinashe, vince staples, jun togawa, the last poets, fiona apple, and daisy chainsaw. and i'm always exploring new artists so if you want any music recs or have any to share then lmk.

i like manga. lately i'm particularly enjoying skip and loafer, apothecary diaries, witch hat atelier, and the works of tatsuki fujimoto. chihayafuru is probably my all time favorite. for games i'm mostly into rpgs; elder scrolls, dragon age, fire emblem, etc.

some of my favorite films are raw, swing girls, swallowtail butterfly, network, red sorghum, bicycle thieves, turtles are surprisingly fast swimmers, your name, keep cool, 10 things i hate about you, and fish tank. and i write reviews for everything i watch, so if you want my letterboxd, ask!

also i enjoy studying topics like linguistics, art history, food history, and other things in the realm of humanities.
