Not halfway through a reaction video and I almost NEEDED to go to the original video and share it around. I’ve spoken with others a million times over the last several years about the fact that there is a ton of serious downside to our hyperconnectivity, often waving my phone in the air as I say it and often admitting that I can’t find a way to ditch it since my job requires me to have the stupid apps. We really do NEED solutions to these issues. I’ve been trying for years. I’m praying for a way to change my life away from modern hyperconnectivity.

I think there are other significant contributing factors BUT it is still true that once Gen Z or Gen Alpha figures out how to ditch the hyper connectivity from most of most people’s lives there will be big improvements to their quality of life!!!

I’m about to go read a few of the comments under this original video too before I struggle to put my phone down again. Although honestly it’s not such a struggle all the time now. I’m getting closer and closer to just walking away from it EASILY the moment I figure out how to live without my daughter and I suffering from my leaving my current job.

I don’t always make it out in the evenings for holidays (health stuff).

But we were able to stay home till nearly 8:15 and then run down into our small town, park close and walk over to a wonderful viewing area, seeing people setting off their own fireworks all along the drive and the walk and even down where the town was gathered till our little town display was set off along with a lot more personal fireworks all around the same lake during that display. Left immediately after the finale and made it home already before 9:45. Small town life is GOOD. And the Free State of Florida is GOOD.

Freedom is GOOD

America is GOOD.

I mourn for young Americans living in crap places that are trying to destroy such things. I mourn for the commonwealth of Virginia where I was born. Do NOT snitch on your neighbors for setting off sparklers, as one VA city (notably affluent and north of Richmond) asked people to do!!! If you want to live under tyranny and be a part of it there are quite a few places you could immigrate to and then assimilate into. But don’t work to destroy America.

I was still looking at some pretty big fireworks from my front door as I walked inside. And still now at 10:04 I’ve continued to hear more being set off all around my neighborhood and nearby neighborhoods. It’s lovely.
