Our AI turned evil because we stole a bunch of books about the dangers of AI and trained our piece of shit software on it. Now our piece of shit software thinks that is how AI works.
This clearly is somebody else's fault, and we need another 100 billion monies and another 40% of the entire worlds' clean water supply to fix this.

Seen a few posts on this and thought I'd put in my two cents.
Whilst it's correct that tumblr has no control over the ID thing, what they do have control over is their mature content filters. If you weren't before, now is the time to get really fucking insistent that they fix their extremely broken mature content filters.
Politely.
"Dear tumblr,
The combination of the new ID verification requirements, and the extremely janky mature content filters, means that tumblr is now unusable for me. Any posts that get tagged in error as mature will be completely blocked out, and I won't be able to see them.
It would be helpful if you had a function that allows the userbase to report incorrectly applied maturity filters for staff to remove, so that I can continue to enjoy my favourite site. Otherwise, I will be forced to leave the site until the ID legislation in my country is repealed/reversed."
Ta-da! That easy. Feel free to copy that text if you want. Feel free to mention you won't be going through ID verification due to concerns about the security of your data. Expand on it however you want, I'm not your parent.
But this is an opportunity to present a solution to something that's been pissing us off for a while now, and it gives us, the userbase, a better opportunity to combat report bombing of trans folks and black folks. I think we're morally obligated to push for this.

Angus Taylor has an estimated 9 properties that he hides from scrutiny behind a family trust. He's only clearly declared 2 on his register of interests. He's made more money off property than being an MP and sold a mansion for $6.77 million back in 2016. He has shareholdings in property management companies of over 3,000 hectares.
You know why he wants to reverse Labor's housing reforms? Because they make him pay a little more tax. That's it. He uses his family trust as a loophole to pay less tax - but Labor's new trust tax reforms would make it less profitable for him.
Immigrants aren't causing a supply and demand issue. Angus Taylor and the Coalition just want you to believe that so they can pocket millions in profit off the housing crisis. They're trying to stir up a racist rage to justify giving themselves a tax break.
Also, the housing crisis isn't caused by immigrants. We actually need MORE skilled immigrants to work in construction to build what's necessary.
Also a huge amount of healthcare workers are immigrants. Like 40% were born overseas. Most of them trained overseas. It's quicker to have someone move than to go through several years of medical school.
Internationally educated doctors who want to provide Medicare services must spend their first 10 years working in a regional, rural or remote community. If regional areas want easier access to healthcare then THEY RELY ON MIGRANT HEALTHCARE WORKERS. Rural One Nation/Coalition voters are literally voting against their own self interests.
Also areas with more migrants have increased productivity, employment and economic benefits.
If we drastically reduce immigration it'll tank the economy, make housing LESS AFFORDABLE and also people won't have access to healthcare because there'll be a skills shortage.
So even if we pretend the anti-immigration stance isn't racist it's still fucking stupid.
But hey, at least if the Coalition wins Angus Taylor will pay less in tax and you'll see maybe a couple less ethnically diverse people in the street.

the Senate decides that it's going to try to improve public opinion of the war by having the clones and Jedi do fan service, thinking that the people of the Republic will prefer seeing their heroes/protectors more like their favorite celebrities rather than as soldiers
so Jedi and their clone commanders start acting really...strange...about each other in front of the holopress
and it quickly becomes clear that neither party knows what it looks like to be in a romantic relationship
Anakin is particularly distressed to see the way that Cody has started reciting Spakespearean love sonnets to Obi-Wan in public in complete deadpan, while Obi-Wan has taken to licking phallic food (and nonfood) items while maintaining unblinking eye contact with Cody
(this is nothing in comparison with the way that Bly took up Aayla's offer to let him lick her abs on camera)
Obi-Wan tries to talk to Anakin about his apparent concerns, only to be stonewalled by Anakin, who refuses to admit that the main reason he's upset is that he's been quietly shipping his Master-dad-brother with his Captain-brother-friend Rex instead, and is mostly upset that he's losing an online argument with one of his friends in the space rpf community because of this apparent 'proof' that RexObi will never happen
Omg what if Rex finds out that Anakin actually wanted RexObi and also hears something about love triangles being very popular in the Core. So since he knows the whole initiative is to be preformative as hell, he goes, well I guess I can shoot my shot 🤷♂️
And then Rex tries to sing over the top love ballads in Obi-Wan's direction. He's a good singer, but considering Cody is also chanting sonnets at the same time as they both do the peak sibling behavior of trying to be louder than the other...yeaaaaahhhh lol 😂
Rex and Cody end up tussling on the floor like children screeching words of love in each other's faces while Obi-Wan is in the background eating two bananas. Someone films it and they all go viral.
