His shiny helmet slowly showed his chin that was lightly covered with hair, his lips slowly showed as well. A shade of pink that looked rough. He also had some sort of a mustache. Then his eyes sparkled, they were a dark brown that you immediately fell in love with. His hair was almost the same color of his eyes, a bit darker. It had a curl to it, but it might have been cause it was a mess. His face had a glare of sweat covering from forehead to neck.

You proceed to stand up with the child in your hands. He seemed of wanting to touch Mando’s face. His big eyes loved Mando so much and seemed very happy to see his true face. But so was you. Your hand found its way to his face and traced your fingers along his jawline. Mando’s eyes stared at your amazement, he always thought you where adorable.

You look back up at Mando, as well as the child. “You looked different in my head…” Your voice softly spoke. “Is that a bad thing?” His voice was slightly different and much more appropriate for him. “Not at all.” A smile crept onto your face as both of you stare into each other’s eyes. The child gigglings and choos broke that stare and brought you back.

“He seems to like what he sees.” You chuckle slightly at seeing Mando’s face light up see the child love him. “Do you buddy?” He picks him up from your arms and holds him, quite unsure how to approach him. The child grabbed out to hold his nose, his little hands held his face. It was the cutest thing you have ever seen hands down, and seeing Mando’s reaction was more priceless. A giant smile was plastered on his face and eyes wide with happiness. His laugh was perfect for him and was music to your ears. It was the first time he’s ever laughed in front of you.

Your eyes beam with love as you watched the child adore Mando, he couldn’t stop giggling at him. “He really really like you!” You say as Mando looks down at you once again. The child let’s go of his grip and just stares in awe at him. “I think he wants you back.” Mando hands him back to you and the little smile on his face was too much for you.

The cantina is dark, it’s late at night, neon laserlight signs that are half burnt out flicker against grey walls. You can feel the colours on your face, blue and green flash across your eyes, they shine against his armour, reflecting brightly and gaining your attention.

This planet is a traveller’s planet, no one stays long, it’s made up of various cantinas, refuelling stations and ship bays like the one you work at where you sell ship parts. He probably doesn’t even plan to stay the night but you hope you can change his mind.

“Hey, handsome,” you quip as you lean your elbows against the cool metal bartop, looking over you shoulder at him with heavy lashes and a sly smirk. He isn’t drinking, he’s sitting in silence thinking about something.

“Handsome? I’m wearing a helmet,”  he deadpans but there’s a bit of amusement in that voice of his.

You watch as the Mandalorian put down the sleeping child in the small room. You look up towards him with a questionable face. “You think it’s a good idea to leave him here? All alone?” He looks down at you, he adored that you truly care for the small creature. “He will be fine.” His voice calm and monotone.

You both proceed to walk down the ship to meet with an older woman who seemed very bright and quite nice. We quickly shared a few words about how bad the ship was, Mando didn’t seem as happy to be getting told how shit his ship was. Quite frankly it needed work. But Mando handed the money, making sure to pay her just enough for her to watch the actual ship.

Mando walked ahead of you, he stood tall and was tough, while you were small in comparison and didn’t seem as tough as much as you thought you did. You actually liked to know that Mando would and could beat the living shit out of someone for you. It was strange in your opinion, but you had fallen in love with the Mandalorian. He let you in after he picked you up on a hunt together, and he had fallen for you as well. He loved your company on longer missions or short ones, and he cherished the time you would play with the child to let him fly the ship.

You walked into the little bar, seeing all types of people, bots, and creatures. “Hey droid I’m a hunter, I’m looking for some work…” He said quietly as he walked up to the counter. The droid did not hesitate to answer. “Unfortunately the bounty guild no longer operates from Tatooine.” Mando seemed frustrated by this, standing more up straight. “I’m not looking for guild work.” “I am afraid that does not improve your situations, at least by my calculation-” The droid stopped by a man from behind us. “Think again, Tin Can!” A young man who seemed to be the same age as you sat with his feet up on the table. Very calm, but picked his next words carefully. “If your looking for work, take a seat, my friends.” Both of you turned to face him, he was handsome, but definitely not your type. Your type was more of the Mandalorian than anything else.

Mando stared at you as you look at the young man. Both of you walk towards the table he sat at, letting down his feet to talk to you both clearly. “Name’s Toro, Toro Calican.” He said sending a wink your way. You could tell the Mando wasn’t the happiest about Toro’s actions by clenching his fist under the table. You took notice and touched his arm, his hand almost immediately softened. He also loved that about you, how easily you can make him feel calmer in a matter of seconds.

Toro finished talking about the bounty, you and Mando already knew this guy was new. Very new, just by the bounty he was paying us to do. “Should be an easy job.” Toro looked back at you, Mando knew the look he gave you, he stared at you like that all the time. Mando quickly stood up ready to leave, done with this job and done with Toro. “Well good luck with that.” Toro seemed surprised, you also stood up to chase Mando as he was about to leave. “Wait, wait wait. Hey, I thought you needed work?” “How long have you been with the guild?” You asked smug, already knowing he was gonna lie. “Long enough sweetheart.” He answers full of himself, you were taken back from his words. “Clearly not..” Mando was done with Toro and his subtle, not so subtle hints towards you. “.. Fennce Shand is an elite mercenary, she made her name killing for the top crime syndicates. Including the Hurts.” His voice stern as he continued. “If you go after her, you won’t make it past sunrise.” You practically took the words from Mando’s mouth.
