 "I'm not saying that there's a conspiracy and these companies are trading stuff back and forth. It's an emergent behavior. Most people actually aren't evil, and most people aren't going to kill someone sitting across from them or even poison a whole country to make money. A few evil people will.

The problem is when you make a whole bunch of small decisions to optimize profit, you end up with the American healthcare system which is more expensive than any other country and produces sub-optimal results. It's not cause there's some evil puppet master, it's just cause over time, everyone optimized every micro decision in order to get the most profit instead of the most human wellness. When you do that, you end up with mediocrity.

Hello Children of the Night Here's a wave that I produced & engineered a few months back.

Sampled some Koopsta Knicca snippets and layered them with my instrumentation. Felt that the melodies were rather full, so I made sure to keep the percussive elements simple. Leaving room for the vocals, yet still hitting haaawrd. 

Sludged down the tempo, added some intermittent cuts, & ran the master through a tape machine emulator.

I think it wouldn't be a terrible idea to consider reducing your online footprint. Is being selective of what you share about yourself leading to the addition of even more identity baggage? Do our survival instincts of seeking acceptance still neurotically float below the surface?

I've come to the realization that there is only one person in the totality of the world that is genuinely happy for me when something great happens in my life. My mum. 

Notice when telling your friends about something positive happening in your life, their smile and comments are positive, but their eyes tell you the opposite. Evidently, people don't want to see you succeed and sadly, it seems to hurt them knowing that they're not the only ones advancing in the 'game' called life. It's almost as if there is an energy stealing, an "energy vampirism" which I'm becoming more fine tuned to it.  I think that once you reach true happiness in your life and you find a sense of purpose, you'll have room to focus on others as opposed to just yourself. Or is it the other way around?
