This game helped me through hard times in life. It might sound stupid, but it really did. If I had a bad epidose, I'd play LoH and that would calm me down. That game was so dear to me that some of my most drawn OCs are based on it.

It had its flaws, of course. The plot became too overcomplicated, and the arc with the Far East was underwhelming and ended up incomplete. Despite its promises of not becoming a gacha, it did (and it was pretty trash). Some features and mechanics were annoying at best, the Elemental Obelisk was dull and repetitive compared to the original one, some things were reworked for no reason and made worse. But, ultimately, I still loved it.

Its story, at its core, was interesting, and the characters were amazing. The dialogues were written well, the character interactions helped develop nearly every single one, and some of my favorite characters of all time are from this game.

When I got the notice that it would shut down, I immediately started archiving and taking as many notes and screenshots as I could, because I never want to forget this game. I never want to forget how it made me feel. I never want to forget its premise, its story, its characters.

I feel a bit hollow now. A part of me, no matter how small it might seem, is missing. Again, it sounds so stupid, but I actually do grieve the loss of this game.

I hope that I'll be able to overcome this hollow feeling without forgetting the game. I know I will, but right now it feels so far away.

I love this game, and I forever will. Thank you for 6 wonderful years.
