i think my fatal flaw is that as much as i love to imagine kanej married and happily living in ketterdam with a kid, i just can’t. i simply don’t think kaz could do it and i wish i did but there’s just some sort of block in my mind where they’re doomed and it just can’t work. idk maybe im just cynical because of my own life:)

does anyone else ever think about how kaz brekker is canonically a virgin? im not at all virgin-shaming or anything like that but its so fascinating to me that kaz brekker, dirtyhands, the bastard of the barrel, whose life revolves so much around a world of lust and desire and has seen the terrible effects it can have on people (in inej) is a virgin himself. we know he’s not entirely asexual either, so he thinks about it. i just think that’s an interesting contrast; yet another one in the books. i love kaz but i just think if i met him in the barrel id assume he was experienced because it just seems so obvious. he’s been surrounded by this world for so long and it probably made such an impact on him. interesting weird weird

i remember the second time i ever read six of crows (first time was when i was like 8, second time i was like 11) i read the ‘my darling inej, would you do me the honor of acquiring me a new hat’ line and sat there blushing and giggling and kicking my feet for probably like 10 minutes straight like I don’t know what my issue was but i still kinda feel the same…

haha do yall remember in crooked kingdom when alys was being annoying asl and kaz was actually tweaking and somebody (wylan i think) said something like ‘kaz calm down shes pregnant’ and kaz was pissed and he goes ‘BEING PREGNANT ISN’T ACTUALLY A SPECIAL TALENT….ask any luckless girl in the barrel.’ like my guy was riled tf up and it was such a funny scene and I think about it daily
