Not only was each Glow ‘N Show (or Glowing Magic) pony entirely unique in the randomness of her glow-in-the-dark stars and hearts, numerous variations were sold in stores. Happyglow, the earth pony, had two variants: a blue-haired release and an aqua-haired release. While no one for certain why this variation exists, the aqua-haired release seems to be harder to find. I theorize one version was the original release (likely the aqua-haired version), but Hasbro may have decided to change the hair color due to disappointing sales figures. The rest of the production runs may have been the blue-haired Happyglow.

The reason why she is not wearing all the clothes at once is because I’m not sure they are supposed to. The cape covered up the “puffs” of the skirt/dress and they are different hues of blue. The cape and damsel hat also came with Pinkie Pie (G3) released as Disney Princess Cinderella.

Star Gleamer before and after. Her hair was the primary problem. But the problem isn’t actually much different from what I deal with every time I get out of the shower with my own hair. General scrub, use of a magic eraser, hair cleaning and a detangler comb made her look pretty new again.
