I came up with one heck of an idea for a story. I wrote down the key elements as a rough draft, but, without spoiling anything, it’s going to be a crossover involving Doc McStuffins, Toy Story, and a Spinoza Bear.
I don't know who Spinoza Bear is, but Doc and Toy Story sounds so much fun!! Doc can literally talk to her toys...and toy story being well...Toy Story...this sounds like an amazing story!
Spinoza Bear is a tape-playing bear, and two different versions were made. (I haven’t decided whether the 80’s one or the 90’s one is the one that will be featured in my story, but I can figure out such details later.) Anyway, he was more simplistic than many other tape-player toys - he didn’t/doesn’t have any animatronic components, just a tape player and a little “heart knob”, and other than that, was seemingly just an average teddy bear. But! He was NOT just any teddy bear, he was a therapy bear. His tapes featured songs and stories intended for kids who are going through tough things (sickness, grief, injury, self-esteem issues, etc.) He was primarily found in doctor’s offices, hospitals, children’s hospice centers, and the homes of disabled children. He helped kids calm their worries, express their feelings, cope with serious problems, experience the joys of life in times where joy is hard to find, meditate, connect, and feel a little better. He’s a very important type of bear, in other words. And in my story, there will be a Spinoza who helped someone, and wants to help someone again, but first, he needs help.
Stay tuned.
Oh!! And then maybe Doc can help the bear!!
I love this story idea!!
