fire moons generally all have a similar need for nourishment - they cannot stand a boring life or being average. so they delve into fantasies and use their vivid imaginations to create worlds in their minds where they are gifted, the superheroes and the gods - just to descend back into reality, where life gives them a harsh jab in the ribs. if their imagination is ignored or ridiculed at a young age, if they are pushed away and constantly reminded of how human they are, they can lose their fire, or spiral like a maenad. but most of all, fire moons cannot live a boring life. whether it be the people they surround themselves with, the careers they pursue, the environment they grow up in - it can never be boring. if this need is not met, they can grow up with a lot of resentment and manic highs and lows in their adult life.

earth moons all require lunar food that is shown in stability. these are the ones most likely to be compulsive - their needs are rooted in strict routine, whether it be physical or not. these moons are comforted and their lunar food is provided when they give themselves a routine to do every morning or when they feel upset. they really do live in stability - they are also most happy when they are working - even the slow-moving taurus is constantly moving, albeit at its own pace. these moons are the most sensual and physical moons of them all; they require physical touch and affection, and when that isn't provided for them at a young age, they can grow up neglectful and ashamed of their bodily needs.

air moons need two basic things - beauty in life and communication. these moons thrive off of talking to others and communicating their ideas. air also has a sense of aesthetic and beauty in it, especially when we look to libra moon, which is very important in their environment. to feel good, they need to surround themselves with beauty. these are the moons that are least compatible with the water moons or any other heavily emotionally needy moon, as they tend to be flighty and avoid deep emotional confrontations. it makes all of them uncomfortable. they confront emotions with straight logic and rationalize all their emotions. at a young age, they need to be surrounded with lots of communicative stimulation and less lies or purposefully deceitful wordplay, or they will grow up unsatisfied and guilty for being 'unfeeling'. these are the types of people who can grow up feeling undeserving of love because they were told that they are unloving, which is not the case.

water moons search for emotional validation and closeness everywhere. these are complicated moons, as they have to unlink themselves from a behavior most of them are taught at a young age. it is hard to break, especially if the moon is in an air house as well. they want to feel connected to people through emotion. whether it be anger, sadness, or any other negative emotion - as long as they are seeing a reaction, they will feel comforted. on the flip side, someone that doesn't react will terrify them deeply. they aren't afraid of the dark, just afraid of the abyss. they seek to be validated through their feelings and rely on others to tell them that what they feel is important. this is where their lunar malnourishment is. this moon needs to feel independent and be able to value their own emotions. these moons place too much emphasis on finding the perfect partner - when in reality, they need to find value in themselves. this is a process where they need to learn to stop asking others to fulfill the parental needs that weren't met. they need to be able to tell themselves that their own feelings are important in order to break the cycle.
