The easy choice from Del could have been "Mistadobalina" but I was feeling like Catch All This tonight.

There are a ton of great OutKast tracks but I always really liked this one.

Classic cut from Eric B. & Rakim.  All things considered it's probably one of the best hip-hop songs ever.

Running late this week so just throwing together some hip-hop tracks.  I'll start by "easin' in as slick as I can" with some Digable Planets.

Slow Magic spins his fresh sliced beats behind a glowing fox mask. I love his drum focused smooth style that really shines through with this track.

This is a fresh sliced beat from Lateef and Lyrics Born.

The first time I heard Play On it was on a Rae & Christian Mixer and that fresh sliced beat was followed by Funky For You and the two songs have been forever linked in my mind so I needed to include it here as well.

The Regrind ’09  version of this song is also good but I heard this remix first and always liked it.

There are crates of freshly sliced beats from Mos Def and Talib Kweli but this seemed like a good way to kick off the week.

Flume is a rising beat sorcerer with jams freshly sliced to say the least.

When life gives you lemons, you paint that shit gold. I've always loved Atmosphere's timeless flow throughout this album.

I always dug this track and the excellent 1996 album The Visualz EP.

Before the synthesizer of the mid-70’s messed up Herbie Hancock he was creating awesome music including “Fat Mama” from Fat Albert Rotunda.

I’m going to ease my way into Fresh Sliced Beats with this classic cut from Idris Muhammad.  This is a cool track even though the sample is obvious.

Tough to improve a classic, but this remix bumps
