Oh also I love how in Hell Bent we see Alex referencing more poetry and literature and old writings, mostly just to herself. She quotes "hoplite, hyssop, dragoon" back to Darlington. She imagines herself in a different life becoming a professor. She may feel out of place and ill prepared at Yale, but she has an affinity for it too. It's just kind of adorable to me to see her collect phrases and words that she finds meaningful in the same way that she's seen Darlington do. It also makes me think of "maybe he wanted her to be the kind of girl who dressed as Queen Mab, who loved words and had stars in her blood". We now know that later events from that scene were projections into the future, and I like that the bit about Alex loving words is a prediction too.
