so my dad is a college professor and he just got alerted recently that in an effort to go “paperless,” the faculty is having their printers taken away. My dad decided to take this opportunity and… create a meme? So he goes proudly up to me and tells me “I created a meme!!!” and lo and behold…

1. Don’t rush. If there’s something you’ll miss, it will be the time you have now. 2. Stop wasting time blaming yourself and blaming others–things happen for a reason, even if the reason will make sense ten years down the road. 3. Don’t stay around toxic people just because you’re afraid of being alone. Being your own best friend has its perks, and there’s no one else you’ll spend more time with than yourself. 4. Be yourself, unapologetically. It may be embarrassing now, but you will learn that there’s nothing more interesting than someone true to themselves. 5. Don’t be afraid of voicing your thoughts, don’t be afraid of calling out people that hurt you. 6. Write. Write. Write. It will help you clear your mind and also distract yourself when you’re anxious. Writing will be your best friend. 7. Learn all you can, and enjoy it all you want. Knowledge is the only thing truly yours. 8. Be the friend you need, the friend you want. 9. Read all you can. You’ll find the words you can’t say in the lips of others, you’ll find shelter. 10. Love yourself. That’s the only love you will have, constantly, and the only one that will stick with you even if you fail.

My first day of medical school is today! I am beyond excited.

With her eyes so beautiful that the stars weren’t enough to describe the way her eyes shone that night. He slowly grabbed her hands, closing it with his. And when he looked back at her, both of them have tears in their eyes, as he said “Because the truth is, no matter how hard I try to move my feet miles apart from you, I can’t. I just can’t run away from you.

She was romantic,  perhaps perverted Love was pouring  from her eyes She was too beautiful for her  own good.  She was vivid with her mouth, and her body a powerful thing.  She denied every culture, and cried holy tears  to God.  She was terrifying. When I would kiss her  it felt like God created the world in her mouth.  I did not know  how to touch her. She was a wet woman  on fire.  I did not know how the hell to love her.  She was too much  and I hated her for that. She was too much, and I loved her for it.  In her presence I would die.

A good relationship is when two people accept each other’s past, support each other’s present, and love each other enough to encourage each other’s future.

Take all the time you need to heal emotionally. Moving on doesn’t take a day. It takes a lot of little steps to be able to break free of your broken self.
