If you couldn’t assume, I loved his adaptation (though that want a surprise as a love plenty of his other works).

Season 5 being such a let down and with El’s ending it inspired me to make an edit for the first in in like 2 years 😭. Tbh making this made me more teary eyed than anything that happened this season. Also I missed there friendship so much, it was so lacking like the writers just forgot everything from season 3 to 4.

I knew this was going to happen but like the writers hate Johnathan so much. Hes one of my favorite characters but they just go like no we will not spend time on his character at all. He saw his brother/best friend basically die and had to deal with it emotionally then even having to plan the funeral. But lets not ever talk about that or bring it up again. Getting a girlfriend were you both feel so connected to one another on an unexplainable level. Sorry we break up in the come room (tbh the writing I thought at most they were just taking a relationship break). When ever Johnathan is shown to be coping with all this stress as he starts smoking in scene 4, its referred in passing like oh it ok. Also the one friend he is shown making Argyle its like he in California so sorry youll never see him again. At least he went to NYU yippy…. Just such a bummer that they did nothing with his character though is that a surprise with this season.

Why do they hate there established relationships? I loved El and Max’s friendship in season 3, and was an amazing thing that helped shaped El’s character. Then later season 4 with El saving Max’s life. When they finally reunite in season 5, they dont even hug. They give a wave at best. Max acted more friendly with Will who I dont think have ever spoken to each other.

Why was there jancy breakup goop room, why was it like dw you had heart to heart now it will stop. Could they have thought of nothing else also who and why would someone come up with that, pun intended.
