When I see the leather deprivation hood, and I can already feel my body and my mind changing. My resistance fades as soon as the hood is pulled over my head. The lacing is tightened with a tug. The soft thick padding closes around my head and my consciousness. The intense smell of the leather stuns me. I’m desperate and afraid of what comes next. I’m breathing fast. The leather straps of the hood are tightened and buckled. Breathing becomes increasingly difficult. It’s completely dark around me. I can’t move, because  I’m tied up in a heavy leather straitjacket. The last strap of the hood around my neck tightens, and I feel a padlock secure it. I hear myself breathing, I hear the leather crunching. I try not to panic. I try to stay calm. I’m trapped in another world.
