“When do I do what people tell me?” Willow mumbled. Her head was full of fog and the only thing that allowed her to focus was the throbbing pain in her leg. “Fuck, this hurts. Who the fuck are you anyway?” She asked, trying to maintain some semblance of sanity.

Damon worked alone, while everyone in his life was out  trying to save the world or doing some heroic deed in  hopes to redeem past actions, he was living his life.  he did whatever he wanted. when he wanted.  he didn’t answer to anyone but himself.  By the way her face contracted ever so often,  he could easily tell he, she was trying to fight back  against his compulsion, of course that would be nearly impossible  to do so, given that he so probably far more powerful than she was.  once she finally started to open up on who she was, even if in  the slightest, without going into full detail, the vampire  couldn’t help the small smirk that formed on his lips.  maybe she hadn’t gone into dept as he instructed but  that was all the information he needed to know  she wouldn’t be hurting anyone he was close to.   ❛  keep saying it like that, I’ll start believing you’re the reason  peter pan grew up. and just what curse would that be? ❜  After his initial snarky comment, damon could no longer  fight the curiosity over the mention of the breaking  of a curse.  The vampire pursed his lips, slumping his shoulders,  as he titled his head to the side.  ❛ Sometimes it’s necessary. You wouldn’t want people  knowing your true nature now would you? ❜   He simply asked only to smirk against his glass  at her next question as icy blue orbs fell back on her,  arching both brows, he leaned his head a bit closer  as he spoke again.  ❛ oh that’s quite simple. i’m a vampire. ❜  he said without  any shame, without any ounce of fear or regret.  he even seemed proud. 

she hadn’t meant to cause and trouble -- HECK, she wasn’t even seeking anything more than help from the witches she heard rumor lived in this town, hoping to offer something, ANYTHING for their time. holly couldn’t help but shrink at his question, trace of a playful smile slipping. ‘ i was -- AM human. someone made a deal with a witch that went sour & i was caught up in it. or my SOUL was. fae aren’t like tinkerbell; they don’t have souls. ‘ the young woman pursed her lips, unsure how to explain any of this; she hadn’t even said this out LOUD until now.

‘ every day i’m a bit less human. i just -- i just don’t want to become a SOULLESS fae. they’re cruel at worst, no humanity. i’m trying to find if someone -- a WITCH can help break this, or halt it, or -- i don’t know. ‘ she didn’t fear DEATH, but losing herself completely, becoming a shell that could torment humans, do harm, that was what holly was trying to stop.

iron: iron is harmful & burns fae

sugar+ salt: if someone pours salt or sugar in front of them, a fairy has to stop to count each grain one by one. holly is mainly able to resist the urge -- unless she is too far gone 

cream: fae love cream, which, like alcohol, intoxicates them.

technology: fae can get easily ill or have a strong sense of nausea when around technology -- it is why holly had to move out to the woods, far away from the sickening buzz of the 21st century
