you can’t tell me Asra is not the OG love interest.

Take Julian’s route, for example. Every time the apprentice mentions that they are even slightly romantically involved with Julian, Asra seems to get very sad and reluctantly helps to give them direction.

I mean, the man DID go into a heavily depressive state after MC’s death and literally gave up half of his own heart to bring her back to his side. They slept in the same bed, used each other for comfort, and shared experiences together.

The fact that he quietly gives MC up in every other route just speaks to his love for them. If you really love someone, you want them to be happy, no matter if that’s with you or not. So, Asra chooses to let MC be happy without ever addressing his unrequited love.

Another thing that influenced my decision is what Asra says in his route if you ask if you were a couple. He doesn't say 'yes' he asks you to clarify what you define as a thing. This one line influenced how I went about shipping Mc's with him.

So Hunter is an, Mc I can't ship with him when their not the Mc, but when they are the Mc, they also were never a thing with Asra in the past. Because they'd both need more time to properly build that kind of relationship. However, they could've been a couple if the plague hadn't happened when it did. That wondering if they had become a thing, if then he could've then convinced Hunter, and the idea of what could've grown would help fuel that feeling of unfairness at the plague taking them.

With the majority of my Mc's 4 of them, I put it as it doesn't matter. If they were or weren't a thing, it wouldn't influence anything in their relationship nowadays. So what we know about their relationship is what the game tells us, jack shit.

Lastly, Kyle the Mc I mainly ship with Asra. We're they officially a couple? NOPE! Asra never asked Kyle and vice versa. However, they were so much of a couple in so many little ways everyone would just assume they were a couple. They were sweethearts to each other and had the occasional couple squabble where theirs no bad feelings, just a gentle disagreement. Which influences how Asra treats and reacts to Kyle vs. my other Mc's. Where the pain isn't for just what could've been if he'd taken Kyle on more trips or admitted how they truly felt but also what was lost when he was no longer there, no longer waiting for him with a warm cup of tea, no longer being there to just sit in the quietness with him, not even necessarily talking but just being there when Asra needed it. which, in my mind, makes their relationship sadder than the others.

As for taste it's very sweet, it's a lightly salty, crunchy fried exterior. With a super sweet and gooey chocolate interior. While some people find it too sweet due to the inside being a literal melted chocolate bar, I find the fried dough aorund it helps balance the sweetness with some salt without being too salty.
