redid an old model because i wanted to take it in a completely different direction lol (felted vintage stop motion puppet look, when prior was going for wii limitations character model look)

dont worry about the lips and mouthbag, i'll figure those out later. same for the felty stick on eyelids and eyebrows, i know how i want them to look but need to do a bunch of tests before execution.

turned an oc into a pokemon for funsies

i dunno if the stripes on the fingertips are supposed to be pawpads or retracted claws or what, but i chose to interpret them as weird pawpads since pokemon usually don't have pronounced divots for retracted claws in official art

finally got this out of wip hellllll

i had sketched this in 2024 but dropped it mid lining bc i didnt like how it was turning out

returned to it earlier this month and worked on it between comic stuff and drawing other scenes, and it was much easier to finish

tbh i didnt wanna finish the render since i liked the flats a lot

1 warm cup o tea vs 6 espresso shots (you cant see the other 3 bc i hid her right hand bc i didnt like the spacing when it was visible lol)

But who knows, maybe that's because each time I've tried them it's been store brand or other non posca branded paint pens. Maybe it's an extreme difference like crayola watercolors vs W&N, or 100g tree pulp watercolor paper vs 300g pure cotton watercolor paper. Or it could just be like with ballpoint pens, where they're essentially all the same results wise just with different feels when holding and applying.

Tbh I wonder how lightfast they are compared to typical student grade acrylics

Like, they're obviously not gonna be the lightfastness level of pro grade since that would be an absurd expectation for a (relatively) affordable disposable consumable, but I assume they're at least more lightfast than craft grade acrylics given the price point
