Hiya! My name is Jamie Lee. I’m 22 years old. I’m an aspiring author and editor as well as a student at Emerson College. 

I will be using this as a way to raise money in the hopes that I can help myself and my Dad cover the costs of getting in to my dream school. 6 years ago  I discovered Emerson College and I’ve never looked back. I worked and worked at cheap Community Colleges to get the grades to get in. However, when the recession hit, everything took a nose dive for my family. We lost the home I grew up in, we lost all of the weekend activity things that made life fun for us. My mother has an endless list of physical and mental disabilites that make it impossible for her to have an income. As a result my Dad has had to work so just to support us four children and my ill Mom. 

See, my Dad is the one who pushed me to pursue Emerson. He’s never ever stopped beliveing in the dreams I have. However, Emerson College is very expensive and we simply can’t cover the costs between us. What am I asking for? Anything. $1 or $5 or $15 or $20, it doesn’t matter. I plead for any of you to donate anything you can to help me acheive the fairytale that is attending my dream school.
