As a small baby, I have issues. Not major issues where its a problem and people need to call for help. But I mean some really dumb baby issues.
💜 I get upset over bright BRIGHT colors and lights
Ok let me explain. Some things just hurt my over sensitive, blind as a bat, type eyes. So to say that I don’t really like bright lights and loud colors isn’t an understatement. If I’m littler than average, I WILL cry. No doubt about it.
Ok, look. If I’m sitting on the floor, and you stand up and just stay there, I’m going to start getting HIGHLY uncomfortable. Because you’re suddenly towering over me and I don’t know what you’re going to do next, so please, be nice to the baby, get on her level (literally) and play peek-a-boo with me.
If you move too quickly for my liking, Im going to freak out, at the minimum, flinch away from you. I know it sounds picky of me, but in my real life, when Im NOT little, My guard is up all the time, so when you move too fast, make scary gestures, your best bet is that Im going to crawl under the table.
If you’re a baby with OCD, and things have to be a certain way, somethings will make you go crazy. To the point of tantrum. If I put my crayons and color pad on the floor, DON’T MOVE IT. I physically freak out to the point of panic if I can’t find my little things. Or anything in general. I put it there so I could find it for later, DONT TOUCH.
Im clingy. All babies are. Typical. But if Im by my lonesome a little longer than I should be, there’s only 2 ways it plays out. I do something entirely dangerous and put myself at risk for injury, OR I start to think that Im going to be alone and roll myself into a 4 blanket layered burrito and start thinking things no baby should. Because those are baby thoughts, those things are e d g y.
When babies are hungry they cry, When I’m hungry, I PURPOSEFULLY throw a tantrum just to state that I am hungry. Not the best way to go. Im a good baby I swear, its just that communication has not ALWAYS been my strong point.
If you’re going to FORCE me to speak, don’t use scary tactics. Such as “If you don’t use you’re words your going in the time out corner!” Because I will force myself to say something, and it’ll either not make sense, or result in me just crying and thinking Im a failure, and no baby should feel like their a failure, EVER.
And this list can go on and on. But, if you understand, just know, there are ways to fix these problems.
