love how sometimes i’m like “oh, i should put this somewhere safe so i don’t lose it and know exactly where to find it later!” and about a month later i’m standing in my ransacked room trying to get into past me’s mindset like some kinda amateur historian on one of those history channel treasure hunting shows trying to get into the mind of a nineteenth century pirate to figure out where they hid some possibly nonexistent apocryphal loot

having memory problems is like being an archaeologist of your own life and it isn’t nearly as exciting as it sounds

I usually go "where is the dumbest place I could have left it?" And voilà

for me tender is a very loaded word like it’s quite different from softness…softness is clean and light like cotton…tenderness is softness in the face of pain and shame it’s like that one quote “ I don’t want your love unless you know i am repulsive,and love me even as you know it”… softness is a form of innocence and tenderness is a form of grace…a lightness that can only be present as a result of time/experience and requires memory as a binding force

for me it’s like…….difference between and gentleness and tenderness is……gentleness is when you handle something delicately because you’re afraid of it, secretly…….tenderness says I know you and I have seen you break and I know exactly how strong you are…….gentleness is a form of hesitance and tenderness is a form of faith I guess
