The Pilgrim Spring Motel of North Truro, Massachusetts opened in 1955 with 44 rooms. In 2006, most of the motel was demolished and Artist Jay Critchley turned the A-frame office into an art installation called the Beige Motel. He coated the building with sand, opened the interior as a gallery and lit up the exterior with various colored lights at night. in 2007, he attempted to sell it on eBay, with no takers. It was eventually demolished. The property is now Truro Tradesmen’s Park. Source
Always thought this motel’s original name was Pilgrim Spring Motel but turns out it was actually the Peter’s Hill Motor Lodge, pictured in this late 50s photo.
