It has been a month already and you still feel sick to your stomach. You don’t belong in this time and yet the things you did remember are constantly changing. Perhaps it’s because Michael knew about everything, what happens and which people who are secretly plotting against him. The question is how the hell did he manage to go to the future in the first place?

You noticed how he changed a bit as well, seems more guarded. He acts like he first was with you and his family, sweet, kind, patient but when it comes to people he’s working with it’s hasty, calm and brusque. He told you before he left to do a thriller video is “Stay here please, I don’t want the guards to inform me about you attempting to escape, the world isn’t safe”, and he’s right to a certain extent.

Hours go by while you’re getting impatient and bored by the second. With all of these books he has in his room you don’t feel like reading. The most obvious thing you want to do is watch TV or even scroll on your phone, but your phone being an ass still. Soon the thought of the people whom you were close to popped up. Tears swell up in your eyes threatening to fall. Hate isn’t the only thing you feel; you feel trapped, scared and somewhat isolated.

Knock knock “Hey uh y/n? It’s me Latoya. Just wanted to make sure you’re fine”

You didn’t answer for a few seconds. When Latoya about to leave the door swung open to reveal you and your downcast face.

His mind shifts from that to other things; taking you shopping, get some personal items that’s organic. John gave Michael shoulder two pats before retreating his hand “Well someone is calling for you, you should answer she sounds nervous”

Michael doesn’t say a word and went where the phone is before picking it up “yes?” He can hear breathing who he assumed is Latoya “It’s about y/n” she hesitantly says, his hand grip the phone tighter.

“Is she’s alright?”

“Yes but she’s talking about leaving and wanting to go to her family”

“Oh god.,,”

“I know you told us about her situation. It’s sad to know she’s willing to go back even though her family isn’t good people- but it’s hard to see her all sad”

“I’ll be home soon. I’ll go talk to here when I get there”

“Maybe she needs therapy?”

“I’ll consider- just make sure she doesn’t try to leave? Thanks”

He hangs up and adjusts his shades. A month and you’re still not over it. Just a few more hours and he’ll be home ready to comfort you as long as you allow him to. Stuff like this takes time but he’s patient. Maybe he should stop by the store and get you a stuff toy of your favorite animal

Night comes around and you still haven’t left the room. Even ignoring diner. Your mind is racing all day feeling useless knowing there isn’t a way to go back home. Laying on the side of his bed which you claimed staring into space until you heard two voices talking then the door slowly open inviting the light into the room until you see his silhouette. Michael turns on the light but frown seeing your red eyes. He push his body against the door until a faint click is heard then walks to your side of the bed and crouches down.

“How long have you been suffering alone y/n?” He softly ask while letting his thumb trace your cheek.

“Can I just go home”

The rest of the night you both layed on the bed that’s divided by a pillow not saying anything. Michael was going to show you the gift he bought for you but what you said irritates him. He should’ve expect it but now he’ll have to book you an appointment.

Around 1am you hear his soft breathing and decided to go into the living room. Quietly going down the stairs before plopping on the floor…not even bothered to sit on the couch, you grabbed the remote before surfing through channels. All that sadness melts away with only anger in place. How could he done this to you? What about you that is so important to technically kidnap you in another decade?
