“Me?  You want to go with me?  Uh, yeah, sure.  I’d like that a lot.”

‘ maybe pizza. ’ she chimed ‘ i’ve gorged on so much candy during the holiday. ’ she giggled. ‘ what about you? ’ 

“Oh, I know the feeling.  I ate way too much.”  Barry chuckled and shrugged.  “I don’t know...  Maybe a new microscope?  Sounds nerdy, but...”

“I’m not nervous, or maybe I am, but if I am, that’s just how I usually seem.” She replies quickly, shrugging her shoulders. 

“...Uh-huh.”  Barry nodded.  He knew for a fact that she was nervous.  Not because he knew the woman, but because he acted exactly like she as acting right now when he got nervous.  “If you say so.”

“Er, not exactly, I mean, kind of?” She makes a face and adjusts her glasses nervously, knowing that it wouldn’t be all that easy to explain it. “No, it’s fine, I’m pretty clumsy sometimes.”

“...You seem nervous.  Why do you seem nervous?”  Barry asked, starting to grow uneasy himself.

“Uh...  Kiss Iris, but please don’t tell her I said that.  I don’t know Caitlin that well, but I really don’t want to cuddle with Oliver, so I’m gonna have to say I’d cuddle Caitlin and hug Oliver.”

Bill was walking around town- lost in thoughts, just thinking about a new idea he had gotten for his book, when he bumped into someone. He cursed to himself - before looking up to see who the other person was. “ Hey man, it’s alright, it was my fault anyway. “ He tried to help the other guy by picking up some of the papers. “ I was the one distracted. “

“Still, I’m sorry, I was distracted too.  I really need to pay better attention, but I’m really clumsy sometimes...”  Barry apologized as he picked up the remaining papers.  “It’s kind of a normal thing for me at this point.”

With a frown, eyebrows furrow together and Kara laughs a bit nervously, adjusting her glasses whilst doing so. “Well, that’s not good. If you remembered, I feel like that explanation would be more understandable, but I was checking to see if something specific would happen, and it didn’t.”

“What, you were checking to see if I could catch a pen?  Sorry to disappoint you but I don’t have the best hand-eye coordination in the world.”  Barry raised an eyebrow.

“Oh God, I’d never want to live forever, are you kidding me?  Financial stability, please.”

“yeah really.” the brunette looked at the other, her eyes curious about the other. “so people have been telling you the same thing?? i mean, how can we be best friends if we’ve never met?? or at least don’t REMEMBER meeting.”

“I have no idea...  Maybe it’s the universe trying to tell us something.”  He joked.  “But uh, you seem like the kind of person I’d normally be friends with.”

she gushed ‘ awesome, i’m delighted. ’

“So am I.”  Barry smiled.  “So Cat, now that we’re friends, what do you want for Christmas?”

(¸.• ♛ → She was getting frustrated, well, the girl was going to find a way to get her magic back, no matter what, she just needed that, of course she still has a bit of magic left, but not her full power and that’s why she was in just a very bad mood so when someone bumped into her, a small sigh of annoyance escaped from her lips “Watch out” Drizella grabbed one o those papers that were starting to blow away “Work, uh? That’s why you were so in a hurry?”

“I’m sorry, I should have been paying attention.”  Barry apologized yet again, scrambling to pick the papers up as quickly as he could.  “Uh, yeah.  I’m really late and something tells me my boss isn’t gonna let me off with any more warnings.”  He picked up the last of the papers and looked up at the woman.  “Again, I am so, so sorry I bumped into you.”

‘ it’s short for bb series number eight! but you can just call me bb-8, because that’s my name. ‘ she explained to the stranger with a small smile. ‘ i guess that sounds weird to a stranger. ‘ she frowned. ‘ oh, by adventure — i mean exploring! seeing all the sights and finding creatures. you know, just doing fun things. ‘

“Uh...  Alright, then.  It’s nice to meet you, BB-8, I’m Barry.  Short for Bartholomew.”  He smiled softly.  “Uh, I mean, I’m not much of an adventurer, but... sure.  Why not?”

With a frown, she looks around and adjusts her glasses slightly, grabbing a nearby pen. “I wish there was some way for me to get you to believe me, but do you mind doing something? Catch this.” Kara responds, quickly turning and throwing the pen towards him, wondering if he knew about his ability. 

“Yes, Santa!” He said with a bright smile. Since he was on Earth, he had not believed anyone who told him Santa Claus or the Fairy Tooth weren’t real. After all, why would everyone pretend someone was real when they weren’t? “I know, a lot of people already told me that.” He said with a shrug. “Hey, aren’t you.. Kara’s friend? I remember your face.”

“Well, what are you waiting for then?”  Barry asked with a smile, which soon twisted into a look of confusion.  “Kara?  No, I don’t...  I don’t think I know a Kara.”  He shook his head.  “Could you be thinking of someone else...?”
