He practically embraced Britannia and Rowan when they came to say hello. “Yes, yes! Hello, pretty girls! Aren’t you looking lovely today?” Keeping one ear open as to listen to Robert as he spoke, he showered affection upon the dogs for a moment. “I’ve been pretty good! I’m actually feeling the best I’ve felt in a while. Got done celebrating my birthday and decided to treat myself to a vacation travelling around Europe.”

“Shit shit shit shit-!” Late? Victoria was NEVER late! Pissing Arthur taking her out for drinks last night because ‘oh woe is me its America’s birthday tomorrow,’ and now she was late! She dashed down the halls towards the meeting room, not caring if anyone looked at her funny, however the moment she turned a corner she ran right into someone and ended up landing flat on her arse.

     When Matt had his own slice, he wasted no time in trying the cake–honestly, the Russian had very little restraint when it came to sweets sometimes–and smiled appreciatively. Matt was a lovely cook, but that wasn’t very surprising.

 “Mmm... It was pretty good, honestly. I did some socializing, had some delicious drinks, and when the day ended, I curled up with Bear and the two of us watched bad movies together until I fell asleep. A day well spent.” He replied after consuming a bite of the cake in front of him. It really had been a good day, and just thinking about it made the Canadian sigh contentedly. 

[Is that a stir in his black heart? Oh wait, no, that’s indigestion.]

But, you are right. This most certainly isn’t the worst of circumstances, mind you, so it’s doubtless that I will find a way to manage.

Heh. Anyways... I’m glad I decided to come visit. It’s a good chance to get out of the house.

It’s all right. Not many people did. The day was good, though! I went out and did a bit of celebrating, made myself a cake, and when all was said and done, I curled up with Bear and watched bad movies until I fell asleep. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
