{ ; Helloooo! Did you miss me? I realize it’s been over 2 whole years (and WHAT YEARS...!) since my last post, nevermind when I was last ACTIVE... Long story short, I’m feeling like I’m in a more stable place now and am planning to get the ball rolling again! 

I AM going to be making a new blog for Yato soon - of course, there won’t be any changes to relationships with any other muses that want to continue them (this goes especially for Sera, who I’m already planning new things with, and... @hafuriyuki​ if you’re still around! I miss you!)

I made forfiveyen at a weird time in my life, and Yato and I have both grown since those early days. I think a fresh blog and some fresh ideas (and a heavy side of “ignore as much canon as you want”) will help us flourish.

SO, thanks for sticking around, and... I’ll keep you guys posted!

{ Hey guys! Just wanted to give a little update to how things are going and why I’ve been a bit quiet --- and when you can (hopefully) expect me back with more consistency! (That being said, discord is available to mutuals - just pm me! It can be easier to contact me on that...)

YUKINE WAS QUITE aware that something was troubling the other boy. As they headed out towards the main street, Shizune was oddly quiet. Yukine wondered briefly, if he’d said something he wasn’t supposed to.

“Music, huh?” That was something. Not that Yukine was a huge fan of music, but he liked it in a casual sense. “We can look around for something, sure.” He’d definitely have to let the kid take charge of it, though. “So like, more classical stuff or actual singing? I’m not very familiar with any of it myself…”

Though, he recalled Yato liking some foreign music, of some variety. Not to mention some kind of phase where he wanted to be a pop idol, or something like that. “Yato’s really into it, you know. I’m sure you can find that in common with him.” He grinned playfully.

“Ah, but… it’s okay if you’re not sure of what you like. Part of enjoying life is trying new things. You have the option to do that now, so you can embrace it.” And have fun, with that thought! “I know that idiot goes off on his own a lot, but I’m always hanging around. You can totally bother me to hang out with you, whenever you want.” It wasn’t a bother to him; he didn’t have much in the way of responsibilities, after all.

“I dunno, I like most of what I’ve heard? Yato plays some really good stuff sometimes. But I prefer it when he doesn’t sing along.” Shizune did even give a little laugh at that.

It made him happy, to hear Yukine wanted to spend time with him. “That’s true! I guess I have plenty of time to figure out my favorite music... and stuff.”

Even so, he didn’t want to pester the other boy too much.

When they got to the mall, however, he fell back a bit to let Yukine take the lead. It was still a bit overwhelming for him, the big crowds and bright flashy signs...

“NOT REALLY.” YUKINE’S response was dismissive. “Different people have different interests, so it’s not that big of a deal. You can usually tell pretty quickly if you like something, or not.” Perhaps the boy was just old-fashioned.

“Well, we’ll look around, I guess. You don’t exactly have a lot here, so you should have something to entertain yourself with, at least.” He had video games and books, so among doing chores, Yukine actually had things to do. Shizune didn’t, that he knew of. “Well, it’s no wonder, if they notice you. It’d be like seeing a ghost.” He grinned, before moving to grab his jacket.

“Ready to go?”

“Yeah, I’m ready.”

It was true that Shizune was still getting settled in --- and unfortunately, Yato still hadn’t given Shizune anything new aside from some clothes. It still felt wrong to want more from the god, though, especially when he was so busy.

As the started to walk, though, Shizune was a little quiet. He still felt flustered by the other boy’s earlier questions.

What do I like...?

One thing he definitely did not like was silence. He’d give anything to fill that with some kind of sound.
