Forgery is an Art

Maia rolled her eyes. “Are you trying to insult me?” She replied, keeping her body angled just slightly from him. “Picasso is easier, and sells for much more.” 

“True, but who doesn’t love a challenge?” Forest eyed the Van Gogh. “I might want this one for my personal collection.”

“Thank you.” She turned, smiling serenely at him. “I don’t think the sky is right - the stars were supposed to almost twinkle…” Trinity trailed off, pursing her lips as she looked back to her canvas. They looked flat.

Forest surveyed it. “Only if you look at it straight on. If you look at it from an angle, however...”

Charlie smiled, “Thank you.” She gestured to the tables and booths around the restaurant. “Pick a seat, or sit at the bar. I’ll be happy to help you.” 

Forest sat down. “What’s your best selling item?”
