Cardigan weather
She blinked and then looked down sadly as she placed Sheldon back in the water. “Yeah I know….lots of blue folks. Been told about one red. But I’m the only one of my kind. Dad was a red alien and mom was blue.” She still stroked Sheldon along his spine and sides before looking back up. “Guess I’m the only mixed one that made it out alive.”
“Not eazy, iz it?” Trying for something conversational, there’s still understanding over what Barbie means in his tone. “Ztill ha’e ‘amily vough, yez?”
She smiled broadly at the strange man. “Yeah I do. I got Sheldon. Got my friends.” She made a happy hum as she thought about it. “You got family?”
“Yez.” Though his answer to that question is hesitant, wary of oversharing too much just yet. “Yourz iz like?” Azlariel prompts, hoping that would work as a distraction.
"Mine is like...?"
The magenta alien tilted her head. A little confused by the question. She kept feeling the small waves around her legs. The splashes from Sheldon. The fish more then content to play and swim off to catch some smaller fish for a snack. She let him go. Trusting him.
