Sweet little barn owl ornaments, shimmering and gold.  Carved and hand painted using reclaimed wood.  I love owls and find them magical.  I try to capture little bit of that magic in my artwork.

These sweet Little Owl Ornaments are made from reclaimed wood and painted in shimmery bronze and coppers.  They are painted on all sides making them 3D. They are painted in the likeness of a burrowing owl which is native to North and South America and unlike most owls, it is awake during the day and sleeps at night.

Moonlight redwoods dreamscape on wood slice.  I created this piece with wood burning and paint wash highlights.  The coastal redwood is the tallest tree on earth and collects more carbon dioxide any other plant.  What a majestic and magical tree.  Wood slices from fallen branches are eco friendly and make a beautiful canvas.

Sunrise and moonrise over the mountains wood burned into reclaimed wood triangle blocks.  I like the minimalist clean lines in this project.  The wood grain in these pieces is beautifully visible.   Visit my shop for more wood art.

Spring is here!  Celebrating the earth waking up from a long winter slumber.  These wood burned wood slices made with fallen tree branches the winter storms left for me are going to be made into pendant necklaces.  I love wearing these necklaces, they are natural and eco friendly.  They look really cute on and give the hippie chic boho vibe.  They are fun to wear and are good for sensitives as they don’t have any metal in the finished jewelry pieces.
