April so far!
Lately I have been struggling a lot with my mental health, but trying to take it one step at a time.

Sunrise
around a year ago i realised i actually needed to design the space station for my story. and i havenβt ever created anything like that from scratch in my entire life. that day there was an attempt to shape it like a ball. then, certain conclusions were made:
i saw people drawing spaceships out of mundane objects like shampoo bottles, and i wanted to do something like that too, but none of the objects were speaking to me. i realised i had no idea what i was doing, so i went to do something else for a year, not really thinking about it and hoping for the best. last week i thought about this whole idea again, and it suddenly struck me:
a clothespin.
as a kid i spent some time obsessing over plastic clothespins with rings. i thought they looked like planes or weird skyscrapers when put on top of each other. i was throwing them out of our fifth floor kitchen window to see if they could fly. the only thing flying there was my motherβs disappointment in my behaviour, but that didnβt matter.
so with the idea of a giant space station shaped like a clothespin, i went into the process. hereβs how that worked out:
and hereβs some more process:
needless to say, iβm very happy with it. sheβs just perfect.
Currently in my very last exam period ever (or at least for quite a long time).
Honestly I am excited to be done with it!

Andy Golsdworthy's Ice Artworks
It's my second winter in Europe and this year I miss proper snowy cold winter a lot. I stopped subconsciously convincing myself that I must enjoy everything about my new life away from home, and instead just trying to surrender to my actual feelings.
Accidentally came across the Andy Goldsworthy's ice sculptures the other day. I always found it hard to connect with art and "feel something" observing it. But these pictures, especially that blurry mysterious aura of film photography, make me both sad and soothed, nostalgic and even hopeful?
ever since i learned abt the concept of networking i knew i was going to have to do everything alone and do it the hard way

Quite a nice day!
Recently I've been struggling a lot with waking up early and not feeling foggy for the first hour after waking up, but I try not to be to harsh to myself and just to make the best of the day as enjoyable and productive.
finally did some work for my thesis - spent about 2 h
4h 30 mins on forest - mostly history prep
finished Twilight
30 mins of a light workout
attended an online collaboration work call
2 lessons on duolingo

again spent almost all day on my history prep. It definitely takes more time than I expected
5 lessons on Duolingo
went to the dance class. Those classes are always so invigorating
read a lot, started Meditations by Marcus Aurelius so far very interesting

Not that productive, but it was a very pleasant day
