he had a weird gut feeling her new findings of his past. it was already beginning to eat him alive. who else would take him, he can’t imagine having to start all over with someone else but that’s exactly that has been racing in his mind. hands occupied in his pockets the entire time. “i never said you did, i’m just saying… i’ll get it.” sungbin muttered looking over at her. he ruffled his hair and pushing it back so it wasn’t in the way. “i just hope you can trust me again someday.” 

Simply piling the dishes in the sink, Tao knew Hana had to be itching to clean them now rather than later. They were the least of his concern; letting things go like that until, say, tomorrow. It didn’t bother him. Surprisingly, it must not be bothering her right now either, and the fact that she didn’t try to talk him into cleaning cleaning made him chuckle. “We can tag team them when we get back. Or… in the morning,” he clarified without her saying a word. Tao felt a bit warm but he was fairly sure most of it was the wine at this point. Seeing Hana’s reddening features brought a smile to his lips as he pulled away from the kiss, watching as she went for the wine shortly after. “You don’t have to be nervous. I mean, if you are. I’m still me, you know? — And… you’re drinking from the bottle.” Tao grinned, grabbing it and doing the same when she offered it to him. When it came to alcohol, he was pretty great at making it disappear. But leaving one last gulp, he gave the bottle back to Hana. “There’s a little left.” Seemed more polite to at least offer rather than finish it off. But once it was gone, Tao found her hand and started for the door with a smile on his lips. “We’ll try not to piss your neighbors off too much, promise,” he teased. Being a bit drunk with Hana was something new, add in this new part of their relationship, so how should he know what would come of their walk? Or the night in general?

☆  -  hansol might be having one of the worst vacations of his life. the first time he decides to travel alone and his flight gets delayed, making him lose his next flight to his final destination. the only good thing was that everyone who missed their flights because of the delay were put in a hotel and didn’t have to pay a thing. he sighed loudly once he got to his hotel room, letting his body fall on the bed. “ ugh.. what a life. let me put something comfortable on before i lose my mind. ” he sighed, pulling his suitcase closer to him and opening it, only to realize he wasn’t looking at his stuff. “ what the.. ” he said to himself before his hand reached out to the name tag - that definitely didn’t have his name on it. hansol groaned out loud. he couldn’t believe that was happening to him. the boy went downstairs, asking the receptionist in which room the man that suitcase belonged to was in, only to make his way there and knock on the door, waiting for him to open the door and hoping he had his suitcase inside.

“I’ll rely on you to help me if I fall.” She said with a grin. Megumi trusted Sakura and that was enough for her. Even though the risk of her completely embarrassing herself was high, she felt safe in the company of the other. “Definitely. I’ll go toss on a pair.”

“You can count on me.” Sakura assures the other, already excited to get on the ice despite already having spent several hours on it earlier today. “Let’s go then.” She reaches her hand out for Megumi to take it, excitment running through her as she tugs the other along with her to the lockers. “What’s your size?”

❝ thank you, ❞ he mumbles, looking down at the pavement while his lips betray them and twitch until a small smile takes over them. distantly, he wonders if there’s any point in resisting to kelian’s natural charm. it was already hard to stay cool and aloof around him, but there’s a good reason for this. kelian didn’t do attachments and he had forgotten that at some point. his own fault, of course, the younger man never made promises of any kind. so it is up to him to protect his heart and stop making a fool of himself. ❝ from australia to botswana? ❞ he raises his eyebrows, impressed. ❝ that’s a long journey. sounds a lot like something only you would do, ❞ he chuckles, head shaking. ❝ tell me more of those crazy trips of you. let’s go to that pub you liked near here. first drinks are on me. ❞ is this wise? no. but he did miss kelian, even if he would never said that out loud.

Kelian nods his head in response. It was indeed a long journey, but also a beautiful one and despite having a few struggles here and there, he enjoyed it a lot. Sometimes he thinks it would be nice for someone to join him, but at the same time he loves doing whatever the hell he wants since he can change his mind quite fast, so making plans with someone isn’t something he could do. “The Pub?” He raises his brow, turning his head to the other. “Sure, but don’t you have work tomorrow?” He adds, definitely up for a few drinks as he would like to spend some more time together, but he also knows that the other has work, so he wouldn’t mind meeting up again later during the week as it’s already quite late.

Sungbin knew he had fucked up terribly. He often wonders what she would’ve thought of him if he had told her right before they started getting interested in each other. They’ve just been together for so long that he can’t imagine that this would be their end. “Alright.” He quietly said. It was a quiet walk over and he couldn’t even build the courage to hold her hand. He almost felt like it was wrong to even try. Sungbin quickly painted himself as the villain. He was always the ‘bad guy’ and now he could feel as if he was returning in the old mindset of Sungbin after all this progress.  “Listen I understand if you want nothing to do with me.”

she looked up at him meeting his gaze when he questioned her. “i guess i could right?” she chuckled shrugging before resting her tiny fork onto the dessert plate. “i think that its just a little more special since i don’t have it often throughout the year.” a soft began to smile. “its kind of something to look forward to.” the female continued to finish the rest of eat of the cake then sat back into her chair with her tea held in her hand. “so, what are you up to lately besides hitting the clubs?" 

“ it looks like luca approves, ” sohee’s attentive eyes began to soften as she snickered. on the lookout for where she had got the cupcake she had realized there was none left on the golden tray. “ oh, i thought that there was some left. aw, its okay you can have this one. ” sohee offered it to him since there were collected other desserts out that she wouldn’t mind trying. “ did you maybe want to dance after ? ” she questioned after seeing people walk over to the dance floor down the hall.    

Tao broke into a proud grin, thankful that the unexpected kiss went better than he could have imagined. As long as he was sober enough, which he currently was, there was always a worry that he’d do something like that and completely ruin everything. All the more reason he was a bit surprised he even tried it in the first place. His eyes were drawn to her lips as she sucked her bottom lip between her teeth. And once he looked up, he realized she was actually looking back at him. No longer avoiding his gaze or trying to hide. It was like her eyes were damn near sparkling, and it only made Tao smile that much more. “Because you…?” he teased, trying to find the rest of that thought. “You like me too? Just a little bit?” Tao pinched his fingers in the air with a chuckle. He knew he shouldn’t tease, and she didn’t have to say anything if she didn’t want to. Because honestly, the look on her face had said plenty. Seeing her grab for her wine glass, he mimicked her, finishing off the remainder of his before gently setting it back on the table. “Ah, okay. Cool.” Tao nodded. He would have asked more about her brother but if he was being honest, he was more curious if it would just be the two of them for the rest of the night. And since it seemed to be that way, he wasn’t sure if he was that much more excited, or nervous. “A walk? Yeah. Should we… um, clean up a bit first?” Tao took one last bite before he got up from his seat, helping to put things away and anything dirty, he left in the sink to get to later. “There’s a little bit of wine left. What do you say? We finish it off and go for that walk?” He reached up, hand resting against the side of her face as his thumb gently brushed over her lip. And he leaned down to replace his thumb with his own lips in another kiss, smiling into it like a fool before slowly pulling away.

☆  -  his eyes moved from the girl to the exit as he walked past it, looking around for his car before leading the way. the boy sighed once he heard sakura’s question. he shrugged, eyes glancing at her for a second before replying. “ i’m not really sure what time it was. i think it was about half an hour ago. i was getting ready for my date and diego called me to let me know. ” lorenzo shook his head as his hand reached to his pocket to grab his car keys. “ i just don’t understand why he didn’t warn you as well. it makes no sense, especially since you two had plans. i don’t even wanna think about how bad you’d feel if you had to stay there waiting any longer. ” he sighed once more before he unlocked his car, walking towards it and going straight to the passenger’s side to open the door for sakura. “ ladies first. ” he smiled softly at her.

If there had been any protest, Tao would have quickly backed down. Brush it off as a mistake and blame it on the wine. Hope that he didn’t just royally mess up what relationship they already had. But considering Hana’s reaction, all he could do was smile as he pulled away. Just enough to meet her eyes as his hands still held her face, thumbs smoothing over warm cheeks with a quiet chuckle. If she had quickly ripped herself away from his touch, things would have definitely been different and Tao wasn’t sure he would have been able to stick around if that had been the case. But he was met with another kiss, her hand resting over his and his heart soared a little. Tao leaned into it a bit more, deepened it as noses bumped together. He gently bit her bottom lip as he slowly pulled away again, hands cautiously slipping away. “I’m a strong advocate for actions speak louder than words.” He smiled. Was it bad that part of him wanted to disregard the food they’d just made? The starry night sky above, a brisk breeze, the fairy lights surrounding them. Eating was the last thing on his mind. Tao bit his lip in thought, fingers raking through his hair. “I like you. And I want you to be happy. And… there’s a good possibility some of this is the wine speaking because I’m way too much of a coward to admit things like this usually.” He could feel his face grow a bit warm but he still smiled. “Your brother’s gonna,” Tao cleared his throat, “be gone for a while?”
