Howdy 👋 I’m Tobi or Tobias or you can just call me Blue idc, I am an unemployed 18 year old trans guy

it makes me so sad seeing people in my life who tell me they think they might be trans but they’re too scared to confront that reality because the transgender experience just seems to be filled with terror and misery. trans people please never stop talking about the joys of being transgender. please never stop talking about your excitement and joy and happiness. maybe you think that the trans experience is all doom and gloom, too. I promise it’s not. focus on the joy and you will feel better I promise.

I think it’d be cool if the TADC gang’s avatars sorta matched what they don’t like about themselves/feel and fear about themselves/think others view them as irl/etc

Pomni: people often babied her for being sensitive and she often gets forced to be the butt of the joke, was once (unknowingly) part of a bet in high school to see who could make her cry first. Is never taken seriously both due to her height and sensitivity

Ragatha: thrown around and treated like something you can throw around and away, victim to and of the bystander effect. Was made to be cherished and loved but was thrown away rather quickly by her mother like an old toy you don’t want anymore because it doesn’t do what you want it to.

Jax: very social and would be “friends” with people and would be seen as soft but would do a whole 180 and be selfishly playful, unserious, and curious.

Gangle: puts on a mask over her actual permanent face, wants to be seen as presentable to others when speaking but comes off as awkward, which often got her to be made fun of behind her back

Kinger: a mere piece in a chess game. Pretty used to planning his own moves and game plans but wouldn’t get far at times, he was fine with that until he ended up wasting away some of his life on one thing

Zooble: mixmatch was a nickname they were called in high school and college because of their gender identity and fashion sense. They have a very calm demeanor, like when you search through a box of nostalgic toys, but can get easily angered and annoyed, like an unexpected sound or sharp touch

Disability headcanons of the main six (My Little Pony)

- Twilight Sparkle: vision impaired hyper mobile, and anxiety

- Applejack: Carpel tunnel and PTSD (mainly surrounding fire and intense heat)

- Rainbow Dash: hearing aid (deaf in one ear from her first sonic rainboom)

- Pinkie Pie: BPD and autism (type 1) also plural

- Rarity: vision impaired (can’t see tiny things) and OCD

- Fluttershy: chronic pains mostly her back and legs (mobility aid user, canes, crutches, and wheelchair), selective mutism, and social anxiety

You’re good anon ! It’s been a while since I posted any Dandy’s World and had any ideas for it, but here a silly au idea for reader saving the toons from Gardenview ! -✨🐛

Astro: Things feel.. weird, not living at Gardenview.

Reader: Hey that’s understandable, especially now having to live among humans.. after not seeing any in decades.

Astro: Till you showed up..

Reader: More like stumbled in ? Just thought it’d be cool to explore the “abandoned kids museum thing” from my childhood, and now I have a bunch of toons living in my house.

Astro:..It is a little crowded, but we’re very grateful that you’re allowing us to stay with you for the time being.

Reader: Allowing ? Dude.. you guys deserve this and so much more for what you’ve had to face, I wish I could’ve found you sooner…

Astro:….At least you found us at all.

Reader: *Pats Astro’s shoulder* if not me I’m sure that someone would’ve.

Astro: *Looks away from them* ..maybe, but I’d still appreciate it being you who did.

Reader: To be fair I didn’t get to paint much before..

Trisha: Could you be less pushy ? Why not say that you’d like to spend time with them too..?

Brusha:….Could you butt out of this ?

Trisha: No.. because we promised to try again didn’t we ? So I’m going to try.

Reader: *Calls out* Oh I think I found an old poster board I didn’t use !

Trisha: *Looks at Brusha.*

Brusha: *Sighs and calls back* ..that’ll work !

Reader: -Oh uh there’s multiple..?

Finn: Oh Barnaby is gonna love this ! Dyle wanna watch with me ? I think there’s even a show about pony’s !

Dyle:…I wouldn’t mind that.

Reader: *Smiles* If it’s my little pony, then I’m sure you’ll like it.

Dyle: You could join us.. to explain about these shows.

Reader: Are you sure ?

Dyle: Yes.. might help with questions that are bound to be asked.

Squirm: *Sniffling and sobbing* ..I’m so sorry !

Reader: Hey.. we talked about this big guy, it’s just a magazine ! I’m not mad.. why don’t we sit down and talk about why you were eating on it ?

Squirm: Okay..

Teagan: I didn’t think we’d get to have such.. peace, I almost expected to wake up and be back in an elevator.

Roger: *Slowly nods* ..I often catch myself forgetting we can just walk outside now, go wherever we’d like.

Boxten: The nightmares.. they haven’t gone away, but they don’t come as often anymore.

Teagan: *Slides a cup of herbal tea in front of Boxton* ..I hope one day they’ll go away all together.

Boxten: *Glances over to the living room.*

Reader: See ? It’ll be okay, and we can make a little space just for you to calm down in..

Squirm: Like.. like my old book corner ?

Reader: Exactly !

Boxten: *Smiles while sipping his tea* ..I hope so too.

Reader: *Steps out of the house and lets out a sigh.*

Dandy:….What are you doing out here, pal ?

Reader: *Jumps and looks to Dandy* I was taking a second to myself, but didn’t mean to uh intrude on your time alone..

Pebble: Woof ! *comes over with a stick.*

Reader: Oh hey little guy.. *rubs Pebble’s head* I’ll see you later bud you two have fun out here-

Dandy: *Sighs as his petals droop* -you don’t have to go back inside yet..

Reader: I.. okay.

Dandy: *Picks up the stick and tosses it.*

Pebble: *Runs off after it.*

Reader: *Watches Pebble with a soft expression* aw.. look at him go.

Dandy: He’s fast.. takes a while to find the stick now, much longer than back in gardenview.

Reader: It is different here..

Dandy: Yeah…

Reader:….

Dandy:…

Reader:…

Pebble: *Running around in circles with the stick.*

Dandy: I know this is.. supposed to be better.

Reader:…Supposed to be ?

Dandy: Everyone’s happier.. ‘free’.

Reader: Yeah.. cause they are, but so are you.

Dandy:…

Reader: No one has to do anything they don’t want to, and you’re very much included in that.. just as much as anyone else.

Dandy:……You really think so ?

Reader: I know so..

Dandy:….

Reader: *Hesitates but pat’s Dandy’s head.*

Dandy: *Stiffens for a moment before very slowly accepting it.*

Astro: *Smiling softly as he shuts the front door.*

Goob: Hey Astro ! Guess what I did !?

Astro: *Jumps and turns around* ah Goob..

Goob: I made cookies ! Do you want one ??

Astro: Really ? That’s good.. I’ll grab one in a bit, just checking on something.

Goob: Okay ! I’ll make sure there’s some for you !

Astro: Thank you..

(Did I go overboard ? Maybe, did I leave out a few toons ? Yes- it’s very late as I finish this and I’m going to sleep now <33)

To be honest, something like this is a really good concept for an AU. For example, since Gardenview is abandoned by humans, there's no one really stopping teenagers or old workers from walking inside (not that we know of at least). If someone came across one if not all the toons and was willing to bring them to the surface, they could take them with them and remain unnoticed. Who's gonna stop them if they do?

Another thought is that this is very similar to Poppy Playtime Saved AUs that ends up with the player taking the toys home, in this case it's the same thing but the toons have a lot of their own issues they need to work through. And honestly, it would be better to sort that out immediately after leaving Gardenview.

Returning to my point, this is a great concept for a Dandy's World AU and I feel like myself and other writers/artists could create something similar to this.

That’s exactly what I was thinking! I was thinking of making an AU where a down on their luck human visits Gardenview just to do a spooky building exploration video about it and ends up finding the toons, after slightly freaking out over literal toons being alive they decide to bring the toons to their home.

I was thinking of making an ask-blog about it just for fun but I gotta be patient with my thought pacing and probably just gonna stick to planning the AU first

So I'm saying this flat out: Marinette is abusive.

I don't use the term lightly. She is continuously gaslighting Adrien regarding Gabriel, even strongarming the people who knew Gabriel to be her accomplices. She had Alya lie in her place because she didn't want to do the dirty work.

She doesn't trust Adrien. Sublimation happened because she was afraid Adrien would replace her with Sublime, despite supposedly knowing him on a deep level. She shattered his rings in Werepapas, risking killing him in the process, because the previous lucky charms didn't give her the answers she wanted to hear, despite that not being how lucky charms worked. She admitted both in Mister Agreste and Heartfixer that she's more concerned with her guilt, her difficult emotions over Adrien's grief, to where in the former, she was going to uproot his life again to make herself feel better (Nathalie rightfully shut that down), and in the latter, she hides the letter from him. Oh, and she tried to talk him out of therapy.

She's his abuser now. Abuse isn't just physical wounds and scars. Ultimately, it's about control, even if you think it's for their own good. She is controlling him. I can't believe Astruc made his flagship romance an abusive romance, and I'm doubly baffled he wants the viewer to agree with her.

What was he thinking?

So You Watched Obsession And Want To Mainline Curry Barker's Short Horror:

wonderful news!! curry barker is one of my favorite (if not my favorite, hands down) short horror directors. as someone who has watched hundreds and hundreds of short horror films on youtube.

here are five of his films with the runtime and a quick summary of each. (sorry if i miss any, these are what i remember off the top of my head!) i've avoided spoilers beyond the basic premise, but every single one of these deals with Absolutely Haunting Thematic Shit:

THE CHAIR - 25 minutes

when horror connoisseurs hear "curry barker," they usually think of the chair first. barker was approached to make this into a full-length film & pitched obsession instead... GREAT choice, as i don't think the chair would Work with extra runtime.

a man finds an old chair on the side of the road and brings it home to his girlfriend. strange events begin to unfold -- his girlfriend's behavior becomes increasingly erratic, he's losing time, he's unraveling at the seams....

if you enjoyed the fucked-up relationship dynamics in obsession then you will probably have a good time.

MILK & SERIAL - 62 minutes

barker's other best-known horror film. a twisty found footage thriller about youtube pranksters whose pranks Go Wrong (TM).

i can't say much more than that.... if you watched obsession and thought "pretty good, but pretty predictable. i wonder how curry barker would handle a psychological thriller with more plot twists??"

boy, does this film have an answer!!

ENIGMA - 20 minutes

this is a psychological thriller about a man dealing with the impending end of the world. explores how other people are also dealing with the end of the world.

i fear i'll give a skewed impression if i say this one is sort of a feel-good film..... but OF the films on this list, it's Certainly the most optimistic. my partner rafi (who really hates depressing horror) watched it with me and concluded, "oh, that was kind of sweet, actually!!"

this one's great if you want a palate cleanser after The Unrelenting Gutwrenching Horror of obsession.

WARNINGS - 20 minutes

my personal favorite!! criminally underrated!! upsetting in a way that stuck to my skin for days!!

a man starts receiving strange written warnings on halloween. things around him begin to unravel.

similar to the chair in its unsettling surreality, but with a bit more supernatural influence imo. you'll recognize a lot of parallel imagery to obsession, especially with Strange Movement and Nightmare Experiences.

HEAVY EYES - 5 minutes

the shortest one on this list if you just want to dip your toes in real quick... a pretty easy time investment if you've never watched short horror and aren't sure if you'll like it!

a boy's mom comes home unexpectedly at night.

the only problem?? she's still texting him from the hospital where she works.

this one is both scary and ended up Way More Haunting than i thought a 5-minute short could. even thinking about it makes my stomach kind of hurt.
