it’s Asian American and Pacific Islanders heritage month and that means reminding everyone that America stole Hawaii for sugar money, forced Japanese ppl in internment camps, exploited Chinese workers while also denying them entry and set south east asia for fuckery w their imperialism :)

You know that part in movies where the main character turns on their car radio and the song that’s playing slowly fades in and becomes the movies background music? I like that

I love the opposite, where the background music is seemingly just background music until the cut to someone turning off the radio and the music abruptly cuts off.

i want love that’s warm and sickeningly sweet like honey… the kind that makes your insides all gooey and causes your heart to flutter uncomfortably and causes heat to blossom on your cheeks… but i also want the cool and calm kind of love, the love that’s quiet and steady and stable, where they make you feel like you’re coming home.
