Well lets just say…I tried to get “ rid” of her little brother.

*eyes go black and white and turns guitar into a gun* “You tried to what?”

That’s right. Years ago he knew what was going on. So after I killed you, I tracked him down days later. What an innocent little child he was with his bonnie plush….and the screams he made when I…sliced his chest. Of course he got away with the help of marionette. But he suffred so much pain marionette erased his memory of that event. So I decided to come back and make him “remember”

*holds onto the guitar gun tightly as eyes are glowing red*

Heh…you can’t stop me. I had my friend try to take care of him but failed. I came back to finish the job…but I’ll start with you! Then Kevin is next!

*gets my star knife and runs at Vincent about to slice him*

Aaron smiled back at Vincentm he knew of Vincent’s coming of age and it kinda made him nervous.

Vincent sat down at his seat and started eating his food. “So, the coronation is in a few days…” The queen started. “Yeah, I know.” Vincent said. “We are very happy that you are gonna become king. However, there are many dangers that you will face. That’s why…” The king turned to Aaron. “We’re gonna have Aaron train you for battle.”

Aaron knew this was coming.“ Yes…my lord.” He said and looked at Vincent. He cared deeply for him and never wanted to see him hurt. But if the king says that he has to train him, then he’ll do it.

Vincent looked at Aaron, then back at his father. He nodded. “Yes, father.” He followed Aaron as he led him out to the courtyard.

Aaron led Vincent to the cortyard where there were alot of weapons set out for them. Aaron knew how to use most of them but his specialty was with knives.

Vincent picked up the sword from the ground and unsheathed it. He looked at Aaron, determined. “I’m ready.” He said.

Aaron got a pair of knives and did a battle stance.“ Come at me!” He said.

Vincent ran at Aaron, gripping his sword in his hand. The sword collided with the knives as the metal scrapes against each other.

Aaron blocked Vincent’s sword with his knives. Aaron then pushed him back and knocked him off his feet.

Vincent fell to the ground, his sword falling out of his hand.

“Sorry about that” he said helping Vincent up. “Your farther will yell at me if I go easy on you. We might need to work on your reflexes though.”

“*sigh* Yeah…” He said, looking down at the ground. “I’m just not ready to be a king, you know.”

Aaron looked at Vincent. “ what do you mean?” He asked him as he went over and picked up Vincent’s sword.

“Well, I don’t know anything about ruling a country, and I’m afraid of going into battle. I… might get hurt or worse.” Vincent replied.

Aaron set the sword down on a bench. He then put a hand on his shoulder. “ Vincent…it’s okay to be scared. I was…when I got here and when I fought in my first battle…”

Vincent looked at Aaron. “I had no idea… I always saw you as a strong person who would do anything to protect the people you love. But…” He intertwined his fingers with his. “You were the same as me… you were scared when you came to the palace and when you fought in your first battle. But what kept you going was the thought of the person you loved. I really admire you for that.” He asked, looking into Aaron’s eyes.

Aaron blushed.“y-yes. Yes it did. It wasn’t easy though. I had alot of nightmares from.my first battle…” he said. “ but I’m kinda over it.”

Vincent pulled Aaron in for a hug. “Listen. If there’s anything you need to talk about, I’m here. I’ll be here to help you.” He said.

Aaron blushed feing the prince pull him into a hug.“ I’ll keep that in mind….” he said.

Vincent pulled away and looked at his companion in the eyes. “Alright. Now, let’s start working on my reflexes, shall we?” He asked, smiling.

Aaron noded. “ you just read my mind” he said and tossed Vincent the sword.

Vincent caught the sword and got into his battle stance.

Aaron this time was the the one to attack. He lept foward and ran at Vincent with knives in hands.

Vincent blocked the knives with his sword. He then pushed Aaron back, knocking him off his feet.

“Ugh…..” Aaron said as his knives flew off his hands and he fell on his back. “Wow…you’re a fast learner.”

“Hehehe. Sorry about that.” Vincent said as he helped Aaron up.

“It’s okay. You have to hurt me a bit but not too much.” He said.

“Yeah… you’re right.” He said. He looked over as the sun was setting. “Let’s get back inside. Father might be expecting us.”

“Okay” Aaron said putting the knives away.

Vincent and Aaron went back inside where the king was waiting for them inside. “Aaron, how was the training with Vincent?” He asked him.

“ the training went alright my lord. Your son here is a fast learner!” He said.

The king chuckled and put a hand on Vincent’s shoulder. “I am proud of you, son. I bet you would make a great king!” He said. Vincent smiled. “Thank you, father.” Then, Princess Genevieve walked in. “Ah, I see that the training went well.” She said. Vincent and Aaron turned to see her.

Aaron gave her a bow “ princess….” he said then stood straight. “ I also belive Prince Vincent would make a great king my lord”

The king smiled. “Yes. I believe so.” He said. Genevieve looked at Vincent, who was nervous. “Vincent, there’s no need to be nervous. Me, Aaron and everyone else will be with you every step of the way. I’m sure you’ll be a great king.” She said, smiling. Vincent smiled back. “Thank you, Genevieve.” He said.

“The princess and king speak the truth young Prince.” Aaron said. “We all belive in you…”

Vincent looked at everyone and smiled. “Thank you, everyone.” He said. “You’re welcome.” The king said. “Well, we should get ready for dinner.” The queen said.

Aaron smiled at Vincent. Whenever the king, queen or princess was around, he’d use his formal language. He was raised that way.

Vincent walked to the door, then looked at Aaron. “Well, let’s go.” He said.

Aaron was snapped out of his thoughts. “Oh…coming!” He said and followed Vincent.

They went to the dining room where an assortment of food was on the table. One of the maids put a plate in front of Vincent. “Here you go. Hope you like it.” She said. “Thank you.” He said. He then started eating. The food was good.

Aaron picked at his food. As he reached for a knife, as soon as his fingertips made contract with the suffarce and image of his first battle cane inti his head. No no no! He thought. You are a soildier! You should be over it by now…. Aaron dropped the knife. “O-oh…sorry…I’ll pick it up”

Vincent saw Aaron drop the knife. He picked it up for him. “Aaron, is everything okay?” He said, concerned.

Aaron shook his head then noded and looked at Vincent. “Y-yes everything is okay…can I be excused for a few minutes?” He said hand on his forehead.

“A-Alright, Aaron.” The king said. Everyone watched as Aaron got up and walked away. Vincent couldn’t help but feel that something’s… wrong.

Aaron walked off into the cortyard and leaned on the wall. Why…why do those memories keep coming back?! He wanted to scream…or cry. But he refused to cry so he screamed but not loud but enough to hear it himself.“AAARRRGHHHHHHHHH” he screamed and gipped at his hair.

Vincent ran after Aaron. He excused himself too. He wanted to see if Aaron is okay. He went to the courtyard and saw Aaron, leaning against the wall and gripping his hair. “Aaron, what’s wrong?!” He asked, running up to him.

Aaron heard Vincent .oh no…oh no…he let go of his hair and stood up straight his back to the young prince. “ I’m fine Prince”

Vincent looked at him, concerned. He then hugged Aaron from behind. “Aaron, it’s okay. You can tell me. Like I said before, if there is something you need to talk about, I’m here. You are my companion and you’ve done so much for me. And in return, I’ll do the same for you.” he said, giving him a warm smile.

Aaron never heard a person tell him that. All his life was do this, do that, training, blood. BLOOD. Aaron bit his lip fighting back his emotions abd tears. “ I said I am fine…”

“Aaron…” Vincent turned Aaron around to face him. “It’s okay. You can tell me. I’m here to help if you’re troubled.” He said.

Aaron closed his eyes.“I….” he muttered then began to feel his head throb. “Ugh….” he grunted and feel to his knees. A flashback of him ruinning in a forrest during one of his previous battles played in his head. He rembered that his shoulder was wounded and his head throbbed due to blood loss. His comrade was shot in from of him by an arrow and blood flew and coated his face. Why…why couldn’t he save his comrades?!

Vincent knelt down next to Aaron. “Hey! Aaron, are you okay?!” He asked frantically.

“Huff….” Aaron griped at his head. It hurt so much….he felt small tears form in his eyes. “Ah….”

Vincent was scared. He didn’t know what to do. Then, the king and queen ran outside. “What’s going on?!” He shouted. “Father, I think something’s wrong with Aaron!” Vincent said. The king knelt down and shook Aaron. “Aaron? Aaron, what’s wrong?!”

Aaron couldn’t hold it in anymore.“Ah…AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHGHH!!!!!!!“he screamed then looked at Vincent and whispred “I’m sorry” before blacking out and faling to the floor.

“Aaron!!!” Vincent shouted as he caught Aaron is his arms. He shook him in an attempt to wake him up. He didn’t respond. He could see his chest rising and falling. Good. He’s still alive. He thought. The queen looked at the king in shock. Then, the maids and Princess Genevieve ran outside. “Prince Vincent, what’s going on?!” One of the maids said. “No time! Help him get Aaron to his room!” the king commanded. One of the maids nodded and helped Vincent left Aaron up. They carried him into his room where he was examined by the castle doctor. “He’s okay. He just needs to rest for a couple hours.” He said. The doctor looked at everyone. “I need one of you to watch over Aaron until he wakes up.” The doctor said. Vincent stepped up. “I’ll do it.” He said. The king looked at Vincent. “Son…” He started to say, but Vincent looked at him. “Don’t worry, Father. I’ll be fine.” The king looked at the doctor, who nodded. The doctor turned to Vincent. “Alright. We’ll leave him in your care.” He said. “Alright. Thank you, doctor.” Vincent said. The others left the room leaving Vincent and Genevieve in the room. She looked at Vincent with tears in her eyes. “That was so scary! I thought that Aaron was gonna die!” Genevieve cried. Vincent hugged her. “But he didn’t. He’s still alive and that’s all that matters.” He said. Genevieve looked out the window. “Thank the lord…” She whispered. She looked at Vincent. “Do you want me to look after Aaron?” She said, looking at Aaron. Vincent shook his head. “No, I got it.” He said. “You sure?” She asked. “Yes. I’m sure.” He replied. Genevieve looked at Vincent, then nodded. “Alright. I’m glad that Aaron’s okay.” She said. “I’m glad too.” Vincent said. Genevieve walked out of the room leaving Vincent alone with Aaron. He sat down next to his bed and held his hand.

Aaron felt numb. The flashbacks and pain where taking a toll on his body…and sanity.Just by touching that knife he saw horrid images flash before his eyes. He felt a warm hand grasp his and all his pain melted away. Small tears fell down his face. I’m sorry….Vincent…I’m not the strong person you thought you saw…

Vincent saw tears stream down Aaron’s face and wiped them off. “Aaron… it’s okay. I’m here for you.” He whispered.

Aaron suddenly opened his looking up at Vincent. He stared into Vincent’s eyes then looked away.

Vincent looked at Aaron. “Aaron, you’re awake. How are you feeling?” He asked.

Aaron still couldn’t speak. He only sat up and put his hand on his forehead.
