So uh, I finished my submission for TennoCon 2026 Community Showcase o7 Hope you like it

Not gonna lie, this was one of the biggest works for me as of late if not ever. The very first draft was made right after the reveal of the "unannounced update". And animation was so good it got me so hyped for it even despite me being deeply drowning in depression.

I was really fond of the whole idea, tho it definitely intimidated me as hell, piece being rather huge for my usual way of work. I was heavily demotivated and mostly just exhausted by everything so I given up before even actually trying.

It took me a lot of courage and ofc even more strength to power through my own self-hate, in-family issues and ofc, weekly shellings of my city to even just try doing anything.

Last stretch was definitely the hardest of them all, with how all the bullshit possible decided to fall on my shoulders before I could finish. And yet, with some encouragement from others and just, yk, power of will I did finally manage to finish it. For which I am forever grateful.

And I managed to record a timelapse that thankfully didn't reveal all those hours upon hours of idling I went through to just do *anything*.

Interest in my original Hex Portrait post has been pretty continuous so I might as well update it with some more shots I took across the year. I still like those old ones, but my portrait-taking abilities have 'improved' since then.
