Cool, Hot, Sweet Love

Dance and the movement of the body had been things that always interested Eunhee. Of course singing was her passion and the thing she focused on the most, but dance was second to that. She herself wasn’t a dancer originally, only having been granted the permission of having the title of ‘Lead Dancer’ once Electra had debuted. She wasn’t the best, but she had an innate talent for it that she didn’t know that she had until she started training. That being said, she wished that she could dance as well as some people. It was always interesting to watch the way people’s bodies moved, and she found herself focused on dancers’ movements whenever she stumbled across one dancing. The studio was supposed to be empty at that time of night, but she was surprised to find someone there, music blaring and a figure moving fluidly to the beat of the music pouring from the speakers. She paused, watching him dance for several moments, until he stopped and turned around to look at her, having obviously sensed her presence. “Hi.. I didn’t mean to interrupt, I was just watching you dance. You’re an amazing dancer, although I’m sure you already know that.”

She wasn’t sure how exactly she landed in this predicament. What had started out as a nice get together had turned into a movie night, which would have been fine with Eunhee, just as long as they were watching anything else but this. Atonement had to be just about one of the most boring movies that she’d ever had the displeasure of watching in her entire life. Not only was it slow paced and boring, she hated most romance films, with the exception of a handful of them. “Nahyun, do we really have to sit through this film?” She complained for the third time, half an hour in. “Literally anything else but this.”

Eunhee surprisingly found herself wandering the halls of Wonder Records whenever she had free time on her hands, reminiscing of when she was a trainee herself. Never in her life did she think she would find herself in the position she was in at that moment. One-fourth of one of the biggest girl groups in South Korea. The world at her fingertips, but with one thing holding her back, the very thing that was supposed to help her - Wonder Records. She couldn’t help but hold a certain animosity towards the company that had become her second home. They were supposed to have Electra’s best interest at heart, yet here they were - putting them on the back burner. She’d been so wrapped up in her thoughts that she barely registered a trainee approaching her. “Where’s Electra’s comeback?” The question made her smirk, although there was no humor behind it. “I don’t know, kid. Lim Sohyun still hasn’t gotten back to me on that one.”

“Not for someone, something...” She mumbled, shaking her head impatiently as she continued to look around the room. “Where are they?” She’d been in that room earlier that morning, before Taemin had been in it, and she’d left her glasses behind. That was why she hated wearing glasses and stuck with contact lenses as much as she could. She always ended up losing her glasses no matter what. She had no idea why she thought that time would be any different. “Have you seen any glasses in here? They’re black, circular, wire framed. Medium sized.” That was the best description she could give of them. “I may or may not be a little blind without them.”
