Where: Town Hall, late July 26th Who: @thecatastrophicstartersââ
It had been an incredibly long day, and God, was she tired. Surprisingly, Bobbi had been one of the first people to volunteer to go out searching for the missing townsfolk. And once the storm had calmed down enough, she and a few others had gone out to perform their search.
Moving any debris that had been blocking exits and trapping people inside any buildings had been the hardest part. She had managed to get snagged in the fleshy part of her arm at some point. When and how, she wasnât certain. She barely even noticed it, and the only reason she did now was the hole in her sleeve had finally caught her attention. Which was annoying, but whatever. Finding and escorting people back to the town hall had been taxing, simply because it took what seemed like forever.
It wasnât until later that evening, when she was finished, was she finally offered a reprieve. She found an empty spot to settle, groaning as she sat down, happy to be off of her sore and angry feet. What she wouldnât give to be back in her apartment, snuggled in her bed right now.
She looked up when a shadow loomed over her, an annoyed brow raising at the interruption of her small moment of peace. âNice weather weâre having, huh?â she huffed. The amount of times she used that line todayâŚ
Once the med clinic had been evacuated to the town hall, Flynn had started making his rounds to check on everybody. Most everybody was just cold and wet, nothing he could really fix since the thought of bringing towels and blankets hadnt crossed his mind. Not that the clinic had much in the ways of blankets anymore. Once the last ill patient form the taI yes water mishap had been discharged, all the extras they had recieved went to the wash and then back to the warehouse for storage. Seeing everyone cold and miserable had made him wish the rain would let up again so they could go retrieve some to make them more comfortable.
After what felt like hours of bouncing from person to person, he shouldered his med kit and began looking for something somewhat remote to take a break in. Unfortunately, far too many people were crammed into town hall that he was debating hiding in a broom closet just to get some privacy. He was just about to do so when he noticed Bobbi off by herself.
âIâve been through worse.â He shrugged, standing beside her. âYouâre bleeding. Do you mind if I check it out?â He gestured to her arm and the dried blood surrounding a gash.
