Well, just glancing through I can see that everything is in present tense. Several dialogue starts in here, and then the rest are mostly short, declarative sentences meant to establish something significant about the environment or circumstance. The odd ones out are ascent and roadtrip because they are very stylized, and out of my usual wheelhouse. There are none that are really meant to establish a wider scene/larger events, although I know some of the later d&d chapters start like that.
