So I haven’t posted in a while [what’s new] and I am writing in a bit of despair as I am having to deal with something that I wasn’t going to have to deal with for a few months but due to unlikely circumstances, I am being face with it now. One of the best, most amazing people I have ever met, [aka my best friend/foreign exchange student from Scotland] is having to leave my side next week instead of in May and I am broken. Although she may not know it, [simply because I have not told her] but she has taught me many things and has become the light on my darkest days. Her outlook on life is simple: carefree. She lives like I wish to live and I don’t know what I’m going to do when she leaves. I love her with every morsel of my being, and I’m sure I will write again next week when I am depressed. I love you my dearest flump.

hello beauties

well my love has left me this weekend to go camping and hunting with his friends back home.  i already miss him so much and he has just left! i wanted to make a post because im just  sitting here alone realizing how much he acutally does for me, and express how thankful I am for college because it was immensly strengthened our relationship

- i often find myself wondering what i would do if he were to disappear out of my life. and i have come to the saddening yet beautiful conclusion of the simplest nothing. i wouldnt be  able to do so many things without his presence by my side. he has truely became the glue that holds me together and keeps me sane. no matter how rude to him i am, or how bitchy i am being he always gives 100% to me and tries everything in his power to make me happy. - i thought at first that college was going to be the dreaded end of our relationship. i mean,  it is for most high school sweethearts right? i was so fearful. i didnt even want to come to  the place i have come to love and call home because of it. whats a home without having some one you love to share it with? but it has done the exact opposite. it has made us so much closer than i ever dreamed we could be. there is no doubt in my mind that i want to spend the rest of my days with him.

So I haven’t posted in forever again. (sorry ya’ll)

BUT Im back! Tonight I am happily posting from HOME. Coming home from college for the weekend is my absolute favorite thing to do. Yes, I love my school, my sisters, and all my classes, BUT home is where my heart is. When I post in a few days, it will be all sap because I will be upset because I have to go back to ABAC, but for now I am just going to enjoy my weekend with my family.

Tonight after arriving in my hometown, I found myself at my old high school for the Homecoming game. The turf and the red track (that was the absolute enemy of white tshirts and cheer shoes) was just the same as it always has been.  As I looked around me I realized something that I never thought I would: I really miss this place. Although I wouldn’t trade my college experience or my friends at college for the world, there’s just something about the simplicity of my high school that draws me near it. Money is no problem, grades are easy, and studying is unheard of. Now that I am studying to get my nursing degree, I am always stressed about these three things.

Guess growing up really isn’t that great after all.
