here's a refined sketch of my fairy tale inspired dnd character! inspired by the little mermaid!

i interpreted the character with a more scientific approach to her fascination with land, leaning heavily on it as a scientific curiosity, something new to discover and explore!

some more exploration of the jellyfish hairstyle, i wanted the little mermaid to have more spikier and tide back hair to contrast with other merfolk who have longer flowing hair, she's more focused on being practical and doing science!

here's some doodles figuring out the hair for my merfolk!

i thought that they'd take inspiration from what's around them, so i based the styles off of sea creatures!
