Woop woop new trend! (i hope)

I've never started a trend or done an event like this before, however, I do want to do my best in hosting something fun for the community. So, if you have any questions. leave them in tags or replies and I will try to answer them as best as i can!

And, much like what narry says, you are not required to participate! if you miss a day, or an event, or don't have the motivation to do anything up ahead, then thats fine too! This is just meant to be something nice and fun to do. Plus a way to celebrate vacations and road trips bc i love those kinda things and we get to give our tsp goobers a little break, as a treat ksjdhfkjsdfh

Basically, I've seen people have mixed opinions on having Blue's Story even be a thing in the first place and I want to talk about why I think it is SUCH important representation. For the most of you who aren't aware, I have been involved in the gacha community since I was like 9 or 10? I've been around for so long that I watched the release of Gacha Life, Gacha Club, and GL2. The gacha community has been really...SHIT. The gacha community is really shitty! Shocker, I know. But I feel like "Oh, it's too mature for the community!" isn't exactly the argument people think it is? I get it because children take things like that and sexualize abuse/abusers (which has happened). On the other hand, you can face sexual abuse at any age and I think it's so important to make the community aware of things like this and to educate them. (It also just feels good knowing that you aren't alone and having the ability to be united by something like Blue's Story. Having a sense of community outside of gacha.)

Another thing I wanted to talk about is the different types of sexual abuse that is potrayed. God, I love that they included a kind of B Plot about Blue and Lavender and basically COCSA (Child on Child Sexual Abuse) as a whole. (Victim of COCSA speaking here!!) I feel so happy seeing a series like this where I can watch it and just see a character where I can be like, "Hey, that's so me!" as terrible as that might sound? Then there's also Blue being groomed by Purple. I can also relate to this. People using their power imbalance to groom you, it's extremely common. Red too, people being obsessive and harassing you, a lot of people can relate to that. It's just so refreshing to see something that is basically both a comfort and vent media for me.

With the people who don't take it serious or misuse the media because it's a gacha series, that really isn't the creator's fault? That's on the people who do that, and just because there is an immature section of the community doesn't mean that the creator is to blame for children being innapropriate. I've also seen people saying that they hate the idea of people making OCs for a story this serious and I understand that yes, but FUCK I'M MAKING A BLUE'S STORY SONA GUYS I NEED PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE WITH COCSA PLEASE PLEASE I NEED THIS. In all seriousness, I've seen people make OCs just to ship them with the characters, and yeah that is really weird. BUT. But again, that is not the creators fault. I've seen so many people blame everything on Vic, it is pretty weird to think about.
